Disneyland officially reopening April 30th

IHOP gets grief for some reason but their pancakes are pretty darn good. I mean, if you have pancakes in your name, you better be good. Disney's are fine, I can make just as good at home.
They’re delicious. My only complaint about IHOP’s pancakes is they’re too thick. They soak up syrup like towel soaking up water. I wish they were thinner, but other than that, they’re quite tasty.

People love talking smack about fast food in general, I’ve noticed, and for good reason sometimes. However, many of those people who complain about the quality of Burger King or McDonald’s will happily go through a drive-thru after a long night and order a McChicken or a Big Mac.

Thank goodness no one comes here looking for information on Disneyland reopening, thinking they might find it in the “Disneyland officially reopening...” thread...
That’s what Google is for.

We don’t have to stay on topic all the time, 24/7. The parks are still opening on April 30th and only California residents will be allowed, temporarily. You as a Connecticut resident still can’t come visit the parks for now. There.

Anyways, I do enjoy baseball, but prefer to watch them in person versus at home (though watching the Dodgers win the World Series at home last year was still awesome). Regarding IHOP, anyone else not a big fan of their non-breakfast foods?

Vuvuzelas. I had to Google that, and I was kind of afraid of what I'd find. It wasn't as bad as I thought; it's just one of those corny stadium horns they used to sell at the Ringling Brothers circus in the 1970's. But now they have a fancy name. Who knew?

I feel so much safer now that there's Guidance about booing and vuvuzela use.

I'm going to try to use the word vuvuzela in sentences more. Standing in line chatting with housewives at Ralph's... "Did you hear Sacramento is sunsetting the use of vuvuzelas?" 🧐
Thought of you immediately on this one @TP2000 :D

I didn't watch this SNL sketch that apparently aired last night but as soon as I saw the character name, you were first in mind. :D

Well, if you have new information, by all means, please share it.

Because we're fresh out at the moment.

But topics shifting and going on tangents has been the case forever, and complaining about this is like complaining that Disney's expensive. That ship sailed long ago.

Do the rest of the boards and topics stick to their prescribed topic 24/7? Because from what I've seen, they don't. So I'm not sure why this one would be any different.

I won’t eat it all too often but a McDonald’s cheeseburger and fries will always be comfort food to me...they really haven’t changed a bit from my youth and immediately takes me back 4 plus decades to when I was just a little guy and it was a treat or reward.

small world 12 min indoors

pirates is over 15 min as typically run, but that includes about 3 minutes of delays as boats stack before the lift and before unload. With fewer boats, it would come in at just under 13 min.

RotR, as long as they don’t allow much queue for form inside (don’t let guests into shuttle until the indoor queue is almost empty) is under 15 from shuttle entry to being outside at ride’s end.

I fully expect Disney to speed up the flume attractions to get under 15 mins through water flow increases, increasing the lift hill belt speed, and less boats.

At this point I think its safe to say that a majority of attractions will reopen with the Parks on April 30th.

Yes. As long as you mean “rides” when you say “attractions”. I can only think of the subs, honestly.

We're on a Disney Fan Site, we're calling rides by their Disney nomenclature here, Attractions.

And yes Subs would be one of the few "Attractions" that won't reopen, in fact I'd be surprised if it reopens ever again.

I’ve found Disney to use the term “attraction” quite liberally.

65 attractions! DCA has a meager 30.
