So, does anyone know how exactly the masking policy works on attractions? Since some attractions go indoors and outdoors, are those considered outdoor attractions for the purpose of the mask policy or not? Also, a lot of attractions have mostly outdoor queues, but then the majority of the ride is inside. Are you allowed to take a mask off during the outdoor portions of the ride, but put them back on before it goes back indoors? I know that isn't really practical.

Since most everything good at Disneyland is indoors to some degree, I am really curious how it works here.

I would assume for rides that go both indoor and outdoor they'll likely have you have the mask on for the whole ride that way you're not scrambling to put the mask on when you get indoors (EG Splash Mountain, Alice)

In the case of Indiana Jones, HM, POTC etc... likely will allow you to have the mask off in the outdoor queue then put it on once you enter the indoor portion

I figured that is how it would worked. I am really curious how indoor masking is working at Magic Mountain. Most rides and queues could be considered outside, but some of the queues and stations could be considered inside like the ones for Superman, Batman, Apocalypse and West Coast Racers. Has anyone been up there since they started requiring masks indoors in LA County and have experience on how it works for rides up there?

They've advised not to laminate the original, in case booster shots are needed, and they have to be noted on that card.
Not for me, my card and for my immediate family of about 14 people here in IL there are only spots for two shots anyhow. Plus they use little stickers that came right off the batches of boxes of vaccine each with the a lot number. They could always add a sticker right over a laminated card if there was space.

Aren't the other states vaccine cards showing the lot number with date and vaccine on their cards with these stickers?
Actually looking my wife's card that is a bit different from mine it has 4 lines, but the lot number sticker are too large and covers the spaces that say "other". With her card they might be able squeeze one more vaccination on.

Hmm its almost like we're on a discussion board...
but there is no discussion to be had about a policy Disney has decided to activate. Them the breaks. you have to do it if you want to go , or stay home. Black and White. Simple.

The card I received in Orange County, CA, has a section where additional shots can be reported. We did not get any sticker. The information was handwritten.

You're acting really silly. So if Disney announces the train is being removed tommorow there's no discussion since the removal is happening?

Just because something is true doesn't mean you can't talk about it.

"Don't talk about the rain because it's raining now whether you like it or not".

Talk about how one day it will stop raining and the sun will come out.

Not the same thing. we are taking about a park rule not how you feel about them removing a classic attraction. not even in the same ball park. not even the same sport. And for the record I didn't say you couldn't talk about it. waste your breath all you want. I am just saying it takes 2 to have a conversation and on Disney's end there is no discussion to be had. It's a park rule. Open and shut case. if you want to go then bring your mask. If you don't want to, stay home. Those are your options and them the breaks. Crying about it online is not going to change the rule.

There is no debate to be had here, or discussion. It's simple, if you go to the park you must obey park rules which means for the time being you have to mask up indoors. small price to pay for the park to be open these days. You are going to do it or not go. Simple as that. This is not a conversation. It's park rules now. in the words of Willy Wonka

No one here is having a conversation with Disney. We can talk to eachother about Disney, That's the purpose of this site.

If you want a static news feed without discussion go to Disney Parks Blog. No one is rejecting Disney's rules, but to say you can't discuss something on a discussion board is hilarious.

You can get rid of Annual Passes. You can charge us full price for a ticket. You can make us Walk 1 Mile Each Way to visit the parks. You can limit hours. You can make us wait hours for a Dole Whip. You can get rid of Fast Pass. You can start charging us for Fast Pass. You can introduce a sort of Loyalty Membership program.

BUT MASKS!!!!! Well Disney, I'm done with you now.

Could you provide a study on this? You would think 25% of recovered Covid patients dealing with long-term side effects would be major news, yet this is the only place I've heard it.

Wouldn't that be 25% of recovered major cases? Or at least symptomatic cases?

We shouldn't forget that many have had it and didn't ever show symptoms- which makes this 25% number seem very high.

Many illnesses have long term minor side effects. Covid isn't a unique phenomenon.

Yup! It's the ALL CAPS that really makes it.

I'm heading out early tomorrow morning to a private picking appointment with my central valley designer stonefruit supplier (what, you don't have one of those??). There's a huge variety of pluots ripe right now and I'll be picking a TON of them. We'll then be exploring a few breweries in the southern sierra foothills and working our way up north of Lake Isabella to camp for the night. Sunday we'll be heading up into the wilderness to go rockhounding for rose quartz.

Sadly back to the grind on Monday morning.
