I think the hub he is talking about is the area in front of the castle and just out of Main Street.

The hub is the center of the Magic Kingdom where you can enter the other lands.

When he said "WDW's hub", I didn't know if he meant that or the TTC. (which sounds kinda stupid, I know.)

Here is the story behind Pleasure Coast, as told by John Wiggison, a longtime resident of the area.
Now, about 70 or 80 years ago, this here lake had a river flowing from it that ran all the way down to Galveston Bay. The land all y'all are standin' on used to be a great big port. Them big fancy shipping companies liked to ship outta here 'cause they didn't have to worry about hurricanes blowin' in, but the could still get them big ships out to sea without much trouble. But that river don't flow anymore, 'cause durin' the Dust Bowl in the 1930's, it all dried up. This here lake used to be near 200 feet deep, but now you can see the bottom standin' on the edge. Well, if there ain't no river, there ain't no ships comin' and goin' from this here old port. It was abandoned after the river dried, up, an' just kinda sat there for mo' than half a century, rottin' an' decayin'. Finally, a bunch of them Imagineers came up and asked if they could build a theme park on my land right here, an' I aid "Shore, I would do just about anythin' to have some fun around here." So they built these here nightclubs, and everynight, you can probably find me goin' around an' dancin' the night away at any of these places.

Hey guys, I'm back from vacation and happy birthday to me! :sohappy: I'm now 15 years old! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

SIR, I like how DTD is coming along. Good job! The only thing I don't agree with is making the Disney Village have a Texas western look. I just want it to have a nice casual atmosphere and comfortable setting like WDW's Disney village. The rest of your ideas are great, but could you lable which shops and resturaunts are going into the Hollywood section and which are going into the Disney city?

Spectro Man, I absolutly positivly 100% LOVE your CDS show! Brilliant ideas! Please post more!

So lets see the list of hotels:

Movie Magic Resort ( value )

Roman Palace Resort ( delux )

Board Walk Resort ( delux )

Disney Magic Resort ( delux )

Here's a thought about the Norweigan Village. Why not have the whole resort be called the "Euro Resort" or something like that with the Swiss Lodge idea that I had with the Norweigan village next door, and maybe a small English village next door? Any thoughts?

Um... not quite Imagineer Boy! Here is the real setup:

Disney's Movie Magic Resort (value) 890 rooms
Disney's Roman Palace Resort (moderate) 800 rooms
Disney's Waterfront Inn (deluxe) 970 rooms
Disney's Norwiegan Village (home away from home) 86 cabins, 720 rooms

The Euro Resort sounds like a good idea but I'm just going to leave it how it is. And for a theme park resort of this small size (compared to others) we dont need two or three deluxes at the start. For now, one of each will be enough. Notice the total number of rooms (and cabins) is 3466. Say each room/cabin holds an average of 4 people, then that is 13,864 people we can hold...on average! Ofcoarse, there will be higher times...however, lower times will probably not occur very often.

Oh, okay! Maybe later on, the Norweigan Village can have some expansion which includes the lodge.

What exactly is the theme of the water front in BTW? Also, Don't forget about the Disney Magic Resort. One more thing, I atleast want two or more convention resorts. You know, Mariotts, ect. for people with buisness meetings, and some people traveling to the resort on a VERY tight budget. These will be located right behind the DTD Plaza.

The theme of the Waterfront Inn is a Boston Harbor theme. The Norweigan Village will still have the Lodge that I explained in the informational post about the hotels. The Disney Magic Resort will be a Moderate resort. It will be one silver, metallic tower (much like Disneyland's "Disneyland hotel" except not matte, but shiny!). I would like to incorporate Paradise Pier hotel into this by putting a rooftop pool on a short golden tower (3 stories). The Silver Tower will rise 18 stories above the resort. There will be a marina on the Magic Vista Lake with Jet Skis, Wave Runners, Wake Boarding, Knee Boarding, Ski Boats, Water Skiing, etc. There will also be a small, romantic lagoon in a forest near the hotel. The lagoon will branch off from Magic Vista Lake and will be hidden within the Enchanted Forest. In all there will be 1020 rooms, 60 on 17 floors and none on the lowest floor. That will be the lobby, restaurant, arcade, and food courts.

The extra hotels will be a Marriot (LOVE THEM!!!) that towers 34 stories above the Downtown Disney District. Another will be the Hollywood Tower Hotel by Drury. It will be located on a hill just behind the Hollywood section of the DTD Distict. This will be a non-cursed version of the famous Disney Studios and California Adventure ride "The Twighlite Zone Tower of Terror". The sign on the front of the building will not be blackened and burnt out but colorful and brightly glowing...the elevator won't drop you 13 stories and the Garden's won't be dead and overgrown.

Boston Harbor sounds neat. I can really picture the look. What will the pool be like? What will the pools also be like for the Roman Hotel and Norweigan? To be honest, I don't really like the idea of a silver office building for the Disney Magic Hotel. They only did that in DL because of space problems. I'd like this one to have a Grand Floridean look ( and have it be a delux, there's no harm in having two deluxes is there? ) but with a different color scheme. White and blue instead of white and red. The pool area can have a Fantasia theme, but it won't be just a pool, but more of a water park paradise like the yaght and beach club pool with a sand bottom main pool, wading pool, lazy river, a couple of kiddie slides and one massive slide. In the center of the pool is Mickey mouse on top of a rock mountain in the middle of the pool shooting water from the tips of his fingers. On the small mountain are a couple of small slides through the rocks. The massive slide can have its stairs inside a large Scorcerer's apprentice hat, and the slide is a long one that goes through twists, turns, tunnels, and a splash down finale. There's also the main beach with all the recreation activities Wannabe mentioned. Maybe in the future a spa can be added. The hotel will be located absolutly directly across from the MK. What do you think?

I have an idea for Pleasure coast. Maybe there can be some sort of day care center for kids ten and under for parents going out to party at the Night clubs and nightly new years eve celebration. There can be a play ground area, work shops, ect. Maybe the kids can have their own new years party ( 10:00 of corse ;) ) with the disney characters then go to bed with camp fires stories, ect. and sleep time party with Goofy until their parents come to pick them up.

okay...the hotel sounds great! I have a pool area idea though. How about one of the living brooms from the Sorcerers Apprentice holding one of them waterpark's dumping buckets? The Mickey statue could shoot a stream of water into the bucket, then once it gets so full, it dumps onto a drainable area of the rec. area.

Roman Palace Pool: Statues of Gladiators, Village People, Emporers, etc. stand around the area. These would have holes in the very top of their heads (not noticable) and water would pour out threw them, gushing down over the statue, onto the mosaic paths and walkways. The pool itself will be kidney shaped and will go from 6 in. deep to 10 ft. deep. Roman columns will stand around the pool with Jumping Fountains leaping from pillar to pillar. There will be a statue of Jupiter (better known as Zeus) with water based haze and fog forming clouds around his feet. A large boulder (representing Mount Olympus) will stand at the deep end of the pool. There will be a few waterfalls pouring down it, flowing into the pool. (these would provide part of the filtration system) Any more ideas? If so, please post them!

Norwiegan Village Pool: Like I previously said, Viking theming will be very promenant here. The pool will be an L shape (40 ft. long by 3 ft. wide). Depth will range from 1 ft to 10 ft. A large viking ship will sit on the empty space between the | and the _ part of the pool. It will be crashed into a large rock feature. Water will pour out of holes in the boat and around planks that form the walls. Water will GUSH out of the large hole in the front that the rock has jammed in to. The sails will be torn and tattered and haze will surround the ship. A bareback slide will come of the ship from the crows nest. There will be a rope ladder going to the crows nest for kids (58" and under) to get to the slide. A large Mythological sea serpent will be in its own lagoon next to the deep part of the pool. It will spray massive amounts of water onto the guests in the pool every 10 minutes. Its tail will swing back and forth and splash some guests every once in a while. Ideas? POST THEM!!!

Excelent ideas! I really LOVE the broom idea. I can see it now, small ones can surround the pool with little squirts of water gushing out every while or so, then a big one with huge bucket that dumps water onto the pool area. Great ideas!

What do you guys think of my day care center idea? It can be called "Camp Disney" any thoughts?
