Okay, here's a thought. Where should we put the parking lot and garage? Should it be next to the MK and north of DTD or perhaps across the lake from the MK like at WDW?

Anyway, I'm going to go into detail about most of the rides. I'm not going to go into full complete detail, but just the general idea and new things on some of the attractions. And Spectro Man, that goes for your resturaunts too. I can't wait to hear what they are like! :sohappy:

Main Street:

Disney Mid-West RR:

This train ride will go around the berm of the park as usual, but with a few encounters. As the train travels through adventurland's exotic foliage, there are a few AA animals, a tressel over a creek in Frontierland and a trip through a grand canyon diorama like in DL, and a trip back through time in the Primevil world scene with realistic AA dinos in a jungle setting which takes place in a tunnel behind Tomorrowland. The stations are in Main Street, Adventureland, St. Louis Landing, and Toon Town.

Adventureland:

Enchanted Tiki Room:

This is the original show, but with an updated sound track and a couple of new ( original songs ) and better special effects like lightning effects and fire. The preshow is with AA tiki gods telling about them selves with a few neat special effects to keep the crowds interested. The Tiki barker bird will be there too like DL used to have.

More to come later!

Thanks!

Continuing with Jungle Cruise:

The ride will be similar to the one at DL, but will have far more advanced Animatronics. The qeue will be made to look like a boat house, and the story will be similar to DL's ( people visiting the Indy temple tours pay for jungle cruises ) and the boats will be old and battered. The skippers will be hilariouse as usual. One new scene is where it looks like your boat is about to tip over a water fall, and the boat actually starts to tilt.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Cursed Crystal:

This will be similar to DL's version, but with a larger temple facade and different story. The story will have the same lost tourists story and indy tries to find them like in DL, but instead of Forbidden eyes of mara it will be a cursed crystal of the gods. Anyone who walked into the temple room with good intentions and didn't look into the crystal will recieve unlimited wealth, but if they glared greedily into the crystal, the spirits of it will send you into the gates of doom. The rest of the ride is similar to the one in DL, with the same encounters, but in the main chamber ( usually the one with mara shooting beams out of his eyes ) will be a large statue of a snake holding a mysteriouse glowing orb in its mouth shooting bolts of electricity ( laser effects ) at the riders. One new scene added is a scene where you drive under large statues holding up axes, and they nearly chop them down on you. And of corse, the rolling ball effect at the end. The ride viecles will be EMVs.

More to come!

Ok guys, I've decided to put the Excavator on hold for now. It can be built later in a couple of years after the park opens.

Okay, more ride descriptions:

Swiss Family Tree House: Same thing. Nothing too new here.

Aladdin's Enchanted Adventures: Well, James hasn't really replied in a while, but I'll describe what our whole concept overall was. Basicly, you travel through the whole story of Aladdin in magic carpets. The Magic Carpet viecles are like EMVs, except they're lifted up more from the ground to give the sensation that you're floating through the scenes on a magic carpet. You travel through Agrabah where aladdin is chased by thugs, into the cave of wonders where you see tons of forbidden treasure, and aladdin picks up the magic lamp, but abu is greedy enough to touch the forbidden treasure, and that's when the flames start to fly ( literally ). As the carpet enters a small omnimax where you race through caves away from it hot lava ( and the room actually starts to heat up ). The movements are gentle, so don't worry, young ones can still ride. Then you travel into the be our guest musical scene, then on a magic carpet ride with aladdin and jasmine in the clouds. Back at the sultin's palace, Jafar starts to make trouble as he morphs ito a genie before your very eyes, but is sucked into the lamp forever. In the end, you see Genie bid a fond farwell and the journey is over. The waiting and boarding area is out doors and in a market place theme.

POTC is next!

Okay, here is POTC:

Oh boy, I really like doing new versions of classic rides. So, here it goes!

This version of POTC will have the extent of WDW's qeue, DL Paris' advanced AAs, and mostly DL's version of the ride.

The extirior will be similar to WDW's with same style and color and talking parrot. It will have more turrets and age though. The qeue will also be similar to WDW's with two qeue lines going through the fortress dungeons, chambers, armories, ect. There are a couple tributes to the movie here with a Captain Jack Sparrow wanted sign and advertisement for the J. Brown Blacksmith where Will Turner works. The Indoor night time effect will be much more well done like DL's. The bording area is made to look like a dock where you disembark through the blue lagoon resturaunt with the full moon and resturaunt near by ( like DL's version ). Then you enter the dark canal where you see the talking skull, and then head under him down the first drop into the "Dead men tell no tales" cave which will be like WDW's with sort of reddish dark colors.

I need to go now, but more to come!

The next part is where you go through the Crew's Cave Cquarters like in DL and see the skeleton atop the cursed treasure. Then you go into another dark cave and the talking skull materializes and says:

"No fear have ye of evil curses says you? Arrg... heh heh heh. Properly warned ye be says I. Who knows when that evil curse will strike again. Yev seen the cursed trasure, now procede at your risk. These be the last "friendly" words you'll hear. Now you shall see how greed proves that dead men tell no tales. Heh heh heh heh!"

You look beside you and see the skeleton trying to navigate the wreaked ship while a storm thunders in the background and procede into the second drop into the battle scene. This scene will be more technilogicly advanced than the others. The cannons will actually shoot fire and scrim, lights, and smoke create the illusion that the pirates are blasting holes in the fort and the fort is blasting holes in the ship. The rest of the ride is pretty much the same except for an extremely small drop into the jail scene and under the collapsing and burning village. Then you come to the scene of the drunk priates shooting at each other and then into the lift where you go up the waterfall and back into the loading area.

Okay, I'm sorry I didn't do it today, but I just got bombarded with homework, so I'll try tomorrow, but expect delays during the rest of this project.

I was PMing Figment Dream if he had any ideas for a second theme park and one of the ideas he had was a theme park that had a sort of ancient civilizations/ mythology theme park. I was thinking about calling it "Discovery World." Some of the themed lands could be Enchanted Forest, Discovery Bay ( a concept for DL that never went through based on Juels Verne things ), Greece, Rome, and more. Any thoughts?

fisrt off I want to say that this park sounds so cool. Second the Ancteint Civ park would be really sweet. maybe seting it up like Disney Sea or IOA with a lake in the middle. I like that idea alot. but what is Enchanted Forest? thats sounds very interesting. Keep up the Awesome work.

Oh, ya I meant to pm you back

I hope the name of the park is work-able ;)

Other name ideas Mythos, Mythria, Mythical Empire....

--Edit--
On second thought I can deal with Discovery, but how about Realms of Discovery or even Discovery Kingdom to offset the Magic Kingdom park and have all sorts of slogans like "Two Kingdoms, One Unforgetable Adventure"
--------

"World" as a park name I have just never liked, I think it holds odd psychosocial connotations, when part of the resort is a World of something......

Or maybe I am just slightly OC, but ummmmm, yes I am still around and I am sure we can talk more

P.S. Sorry if I am coming off combative but I just spent around 12 hours doing Dynamic Systems and Controls and Mechanical Design Homework....

ok everyone, after a while, I'm now continuing the project. :sohappy:

Figment Dream: I like the idea of Discovery Reamls. That sounds great! I think I'll use that for the name of the next theme park, but for now I'm going to finnish up the magic kingdom.

BTW, there's been a few change-arounds. I've decided to make Mr. Toad's wild ride to have the ride viecles spin like Roger Rabbit's cartoon spin. That'll make it a much more intereactive and fun ride. But I'm going to have to take out the train part because many people's viecles could be facing the wrong way and will miss the effect. But look on the bright side, atleast this way, you won't end up in hell. :sohappy:

But we can't have two spinning dark rides in the park so I'm going to change around the toon town dark ride. I'm thinking of some ideas for it.

Be back later!

Hey guys, I was thinking about what kind of special yearly celebrations the Magic Kingdom could have. Things I had in mind that were most obviouse were Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. Any ideas of what other type of celebrations there could be?

*Edit* BTW, they don't have to be holiday celebrations.

Autumn Harvest
Winter Wonderland
Spring Flower Festival
Summer Splash

You could also do character Birthdays, these could be shorter but have like 20 day celebrations straddling, Mickey/Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pooh's Birthdays.

Or perhaps some movies themed events that have some tie into the movie like have:

Sleepy Hollow Fair (Fall)
Mary Poppin's Jolly Holiday (Spring)
Bell's Enchanted Snowland (Winter)
Hercules' Summer Olympiad (summer)

Guys, its going to be in Texas. I looked on a few maps and found a few locations that looked pretty good.

Spectro Man, good story for the resturaunt and ideas, but the name is hard to pronounce and is a bit of a mouth full don't you think?

One complete list of all of the rides comming up soon Wannabe Walt!

I'd heard that at one time, Disney owned land in Texas... altho I've not seen anything more about this, so I supose it could be fiction.
Texas is mostly flat, has some huge cities and land is cheap. It'd be a great place to build something like this. I'd say north and west of Houston would probably be the best area
