I like these ideas! Really unique and interesting stuff! I'd be curious how and american fantasyland would work since fantasyland traditionally has a lot of Disney dark rides, but so few disney movies are set in america. It would lead to some interesting themeing and creative challenges. Unless of course the American Fantasyland is a Hollywoodland/Sunset boulevard type thing

The more I think of this, the more I think how an America "Fantasyland" could develop....

Maybe exterior settings similar to Main Street, with "hints" of attractions. Some elaborate version of the Main Street Windows. Like the way Peter Pan fits into Disneyland's Courtyard.

Maybe the exterior looks like a Sewing shop for Cinderella with small french architectural notes, but when you go inside, it looks like the attic scene where the mice were creating her dress... and then you go into the story dark ride style.

Maybe a pet store for Lady and the Tramp?

I think in the early concept it was! You could choose your language similar to Spaceship Earth - Very interesting!!!

http://disneyandmore.blogspot.com/2010/04/back-to-dinosaurs-attraction-concept.html

I didn’t know of that concept, we should definitely keep Dinosaur in the Aztec Temple! It sounds like something super fun. And I believe that the meteorite that caused the extinction of the Dionsaurs fell in La Peninsula de Yucatán, where the Mayas lived, so maybe instead of an Aztec it could be a Mayan Temple?

Also, I like the idea of using the Timekeeper, and maybe the wacky time travel ride could be like the one that was proposed for WESTCOT?

And I agree with you, I like how the park is shaping up! :D

That'd work out well! We could totally do a Mayan theme!

As for the Timekeeper... What if we did something like a successful version of Disneyland's Rocket rods around the area?

It'd be kinda like a Celebration of Walt's Storytelling... In his own town - I think if done correctly it could be completely immersive with it's own backstories.

Building off of your "french forest" idea.... I think it could be a Miniland that could connect Main Street to Tomorrowland....

I'll get back to a map concept, see what we got tonight...

Thoughts on a American Fantasyland @DisneyFan18 ?

I really like the idea of it, it sounds different from the other Fantasylands, and it would allow to bring different IPs to Fantasyland, I also like the idea of the interactive windows! And the French Forest would keep the classic Fairytale Enchanted Forest feeling! If we were to follow with the American Fantasyland, then the Main Street Land would be the Medieval Spain one?

Correct!

Let me edit that... 1600s on the map I just made should be Medieval.

I really like this concept, it's diverse, different, and unique, while still keeping the heart of a Castle Park! Maybe at some point a Jungle Book attraction could be added to the Asia themed area? Also where would the Don Quijote pirates style attraction would go?

Jungle Book would go very well in Asia! I could see doing a lot of fun things with that!

Maybe a IP of sorts version of the Enchanted Tiki Room? Some really interactive show for the family. We could have it set in King Louie's Temple :D

As for Don Quijote... Disney toyed with the idea of making it a animated movie for years.... It seems to me, if we're messing with the timeline in Roy Disney's favor - and he's the head of the animation studios at that time period. I think we can totally justify a Don Quijote Castle in line with a Don Quijote movie in the 1990s. Similar to Sleeping Beauty Castle premiering before the actual movie.

If we can do that.... I think I can make this giant mountainous Spanish style castle, with an Adjacent waterfall similar to WRE's concept, where guests would "fall" during the ride.

So, what I'm trying to say is.... What if we made a big, giant castle, and put a Pirates/Don Quijote attraction inside of it? :hilarious:

I think that that would work, and making a Spanish IP be the centerpiece of a park in Spain would be simply perfect. And I think they are still toying with the idea of making a movie based on Don Quijote!

Also -- instead of 1600s Spain for an entrance...the demographics visiting this park won't just be people from Spain. Unlike maybe something akin to Shanghai Disneyland where there is a large density of people visiting from China, Disneyland Paris for example would take people from all over Europe coming from different backgrounds, not just Spanish.

So what if the park's entrance was a Mediterranean coast, themed to not just Spain, but Monaco, Italy, etc which could then transition to some sort of Little Mermaid inspired castle (if you want a dark ride in the castle that could work for a Little Mermaid ride) and then it transitions into the American Fantasyland.
