Disneyland Fantasmic Dragon Engulfed in Flames

The flame pyro during Malificient's ascent had a slight misfire tonight. Another yikes.

Also, they should just do the B-mode pyro in the finale. When the cabin was under refurbishment back in early 2020, the pyro launchers were moved to on-stage in front of the cabin, but behind Mickey. This would be separate equipment (believed it was borrowed from the castle/FL launchers/equipment) than what's used in the barges, plus currently all stage pyro is still in use/safe for now.

The finale itself is so bare now with like 85% of the fireworks gone. Feels sad for the guests paying for dining packages just to see Mickey wave his hands to no effect.
It was already watered down when they changed up the spotlight and laser finale choreography (for the worst imo) from 2.0, but now it's just sad.

Wow. Did Disneyland just forget how to operate Fantasmic after the pandemic? This is just sad. Also I'm not sure if it's because it's on video but everytime I see the Disneyland F! water screens they look noticable worse than DHS. Again that could just because it's on video but they're kind of dim and difficult to see. Again they could just because I'm looking at it on video.

These kinds of errors happened equally frequently pre-pandemic

I'm sure there were issues pre-pandemic but was it really this many? The dragon caught on fire and become inoperable because of alleged failed maintenance. I'm sure that everyone having a phone on them and live streaming every single performance exaggerates the issues but there definitely seems to be a larger increase in major maintenance issues recently.

Fight breaks out in the reserved seating area right at the start of the show.

Something ironic about Mickey laughing in the background while this is happening..

Some of the missing pyro appears to be back (the stuff from the back of the mill, not the stuff in the river itself). Will edit with a timestamped live once the stream is over

Those fans of comets in the finale never went away. They were always present while the river/barge pyro were pulled.

Probably yet another case of someone arriving right before the show starts and sitting directly in front of someones’ view.
As in obnoxiously-and-obvious-to-everyone-except-them DIRECTLY in front of you.
And then of course completely blocking your once perfect view that you have claimed a spot for already in advance.

I tell everyone who will listen this hot tip -
When sitting for the reserved areas, stretch out your legs in front of you, or place a bag or other belongings in front of you.
DO NOT move said legs or items until the show starts.
Otherwise someone will try to sit directly in front of you and block your view.

All 6 pyro barges are back in the river, but they are not currently being used for anything. Not sure what other purpose they serve by being there tbh.

Hope this means that the full pyro will be restored soon, because the finale really needs it..

All in favor of another 18 month hiatus to get this show back to it’s former glory say I

Last night (9/15) was rough.

All pyro (except river fire) and special effects were cut from the show during both the 9pm and 10:30pm show. Weird they weren't able to fix whatever was wrong for the second show.

But at least we were treated to many rare fallback modes.

Sorcerer Mickey stayed on top of the cabin at the very end for a B-mode finale due to no stage mimes.

There was also no Malificient at all. This must be D-mode lol.

The steamboat had no spinner pyro either, which is a rare sight.

And with this no pyro finale, just shows how bare it is now when the spotlights were redone with F! 2.5. Bring back the original choreography from 2.0 where they would spin 360°

Ariel/Eric barge was missing too.
