Disney(World) vs. Disney(land)?

Good to know. I do not know much of that project and the details encompassed within. I gave up on that thread when a certain person kept babbling on at sad attempts to prove reputable people wrong.

Either way, a large attraction with a PP expansion could use that as a decent supportive attraction, correct?

Yea, that would definitely be a great second tier attraction for PP. think of it as DCA's Little Mermaid compared to RSR

Let me be the first to call shenanigans. Prove me wrong though and get Jason Garcia to pick this up so it can go national.

I will be here waiting patiently. :D
Give it one year and see where things are. Stranger things have happened.

This is one scenario that honestly wouldn't surprise me.

There is probably a germ of truth to it. But we have been told about so many so-called scandals lately that after awhile I become suspicious. Lasseter may be upset over the marketing of John Carter but would that be enough to want to take down Iger? This does not pass the logic test in my opinion.

And is Iger the one who is upset more has not been invested at WDW and Lasseter wants the money for DL? Or is it Lasseter who feels WDW is getting shortchanged?

Because I thought we were told Lasseter only cared about Disneyland.:confused::confused:

Really some of the "truths" we are told are really getting convoluted. Not talking about you but info from other "experts".

I don't think Lasseter cares ONLY about Disneyland. Does he care MORE about Disneyland? Yes, I think so. I definitely don't think he disregards the other parks, though.

I would imagine TDO going on the cheap and just cloning a few rides to help "fix" DHS. Maybe RSR? How about Monsters Inc from DCA? Or Indiana Jones Adventure? Or even the Indy coaster?

I could see them going that route. Nothing original...all to save money.
Honestly, I wouldn't care. I mean, I'd prefer original rides all things being equal, but I'd rather see them bring in 6 clones "on the cheap" than 2-3 novel rides for the same money. DHS is hurting for capacity more than anything, especially with family friendly rides.

I wouldn't say 6 clones...but 6 C- or D- tickets compared to 2-3 E-Tickets, I agree. I think we're all too obsessed with E-tickets, then it gets built and we see nothing else happen for a decade....I'd rather have several smaller attractions

I would tend to agree with this, kind of. 2 or 3 'people eater' type attractions and an E ticket would help crowds and probably tend to make lines for other attractions shorter. The problem that I hope is solved in Fantasyland with FLE is crowding. There are times near Pooh or over by the carousel that there is just no place to walk.

I know of past (5years) plans that almost made it for DAK. I'm still in the camp of I'll believe Avland when I ride it.

Tbh I'd be happy with a cohesive safari, a fully working Dinosaur and the JTTCOTE derivative once planned.

THIS. Right here. This would go so far in helping AK.

If they take down the Backlot Tour and LMA, won't that take DHS down to 17 attractions?

Would they not be better off filling in the Sounds Dangerous building, the Premier Theater, the backstage areas around RnRC/Sunset Market, the former Monsters Inc. Door Coaster Building, and the backstage buildings behind Animation Courtyard/Mickey Avenue/Pixar Place, before they get rid of 10.5% of the attractions at DHS?

Now, the BLT may not be as good as it used to be, and LMA may not offer a lot of rewatchability, but surely it would be better for them to still be there while other attractions open, then close down when DHS is up to 25 or so attractions?

Obviously, this would depend on having a budget large enough to create multiple attractions (so you would probably have to have something coming up to a DCA size budget), rather than just creating one attraction!

I think they should be careful in the design of whatever they put in Pixar Place because the bottleneck in that area with TSMM will be worse than it already is.
