Have my SIL 85% convinced to run the Half with me. He likes the idea of the after race party as he and my daughter have wanted to do F&W. And then I saw all races are sold out. :arghh:

But he could do a charity...and I'd be a major contributor to his "campaign".

Right. I saw everything was now sold out. Pretty early too.

This is a very popular race weekend. My favorite!! But not as much as when it was at night lol

Any tips for my ADR's? :)

Depends on what you like. Disney Springs has great new restaurants. And most of the restaurants in World Showcase are also good, except for China, I hear. I'd decide what cuisines you're interested in and look at menus for restaurants serving that.

My favorites in World Showcase:
Via Napoli (Italy)
Biergarten (Germany)
Rose & Crown (England)
Spice Road Table (Morroco)
Will be trying Hacienda de San Angel for the first time.
Also ate at the restaurant in Japan, it was okay

Disney Springs:
Frontera Cocina - OMG, I dream about their guac and tacos
Raglan Road
Morimoto - the kids said the duck ramen was a religious experience
Trying Paddlefish in July. Love fish, but hated Fulton's Crab House :hungover:
Also eating at Art Smith's Homecoming - I hear the fried chicken is awesome (he's also from where I live in Florida)
Wolfgang Puck's Express in Market Plaza has good pizza. I understand Blaze is good too. Haven't tried all the new restaurants in Disney Springs yet. Hoping the barbeque spot is real. I should make a trip solely to eat my way through Disney Springs, lol.

The problem with eating in the table service restaurants at resorts is getting from your resort to the resort you want to eat at. We drive. But if you don't have a car, either Uber or use the Minnie van service.

Until I finish the races, I cook in my room - that's why I get a 1 bedroom DVC villa. After that, it's eating at some of my favorites. And having an adult beverage or two.

It's wine/dine - I never make EPCOT ADRs in the fall because I like to snack around the world!

Staying at AKL I am planing to eat at the show counter at Jiko and at Flying Fish. Those are my goals for protein (steaks or fish). The pasta will come in handy from Mama Melrose, which was an unexpected very pleasant surprise in January!
