All the new ships are LNG fueled, which means they'll need the facilities at Port Canaveral, so yesDoesn't DCL's agreement with Port Canaveral include guarantees that new ships will be homeported there?

I may be reading this wrong but there are many DCL itineraries that stop at Castaway but not anywhere else in the Bahamas...
Yes, sorry. I was talking about the 3/4 nights.Correct. The 7-day itineraries almost never stop in Nassau. Usually only the 3-4 day cash cows.
Isn't Disney getting purpose-built facilities in Fort Lauderdale for just this reason? All the new ships are LNG fueled, which means they'll need the facilities at Port Canaveral, so yes
Very few. There were a ton during COVID (I think because Key West stopped accepting cruise ships) but only 6 schedule for 2023.Aren't there already 2-stop Castaway Cay itineraries? A CC/LP itinerary makes sense to me.
We did the DVC cruise in 2018 for 5 nights with two stops at CC and no Nassau. It was great!!Very few. There were a ton during COVID (I think because Key West stopped accepting cruise ships) but only 6 schedule for 2023.
I did two this year and it's basically the greatest thing ever.
Ours were two CC but also still had Nassau. But Nassau was being so strict with what unvaccinated kids under 5 were allowed to do so we just stayed on the ship.We did the DVC cruise in 2018 for 5 nights with two stops at CC and no Nassau. It was great!!
Port Everglades has the ability to fuel LNG. Cruise terminal 4 has facilities that can handle all of Disney’s ships. All the new ships are LNG fueled, which means they'll need the facilities at Port Canaveral, so yes
This and the 3rd ship have more of interesting themes (to me). But we shall see execution.I am much more excited about the adventure theme/decor of this one than I am the princess theme of the Disney Wish. Very glad they are mixing it up.
Bonus: I'll never have to fly to Miami again.Port Everglades has the ability to fuel LNG. Cruise terminal 4 has facilities that can handle all of Disney’s ships.
Did they say the theme of the 3rd?This and the 3rd ship have more of interesting themes (to me). But we shall see execution.
I think there's a fair amount of people that enjoy walking over to the 'Straw Market' and get a positive feeling of having visited another 'country'.It was kinda a joke...just saying a lot of people use the Nassau stop as a "sea day."
…mayAny news on a target time frame for this to sail?
May 2024? Seems way too soon.…may
Ah.“May the day never come”
It will be well after May. It will be the very very end of 2024.…may
