That exists on the Wish today...no one gets off at nassau right? I know I don't.
Only the first time cruisers do. And the head for Sir Frogs or whatever that bar is.

I'm not overly familiar with all the itineraries, to be honest. We've gone into Nassau once in 4 cruises, and that was the only time we ever did and have no plans to do so again.
It was kinda a joke...just saying a lot of people use the Nassau stop as a "sea day."
I'd personally welcome 3-4 night itineraries with no stops in Nassau.
head scratch
Josh talked about the "adventure" that Disney Cruise Line offers guests, but the ship's name is Disney Treasure? Seems that Disney Adventure would have been a more fitting simile.
As for Lighthouse Point, I'm not quite sure why DCL wouldn't be more focused on developing Castaway Cay. Probably less than 2.5% of the that island is currently being utilized. Add a dock to the other side of the "cay" and create more adventures there. Build it out more in line with what Royal Caribbean has done with their private experience CocoCay.
I believe the agreement is for "eventually" 3 ships to be homeported in Canaveral. Doesn't matter which ships but 3 will be sailing from Canaveral. They also have the agreement with Port Everglades that will have 1 ship year round starting next year in the fall and a second additional ship sailing seasonally starting in 2025 which is when ship 7 is supposed to come online. One of the new ships will most likely be heading to Everglades for at least part of the year.
I may be reading this wrong but there are many DCL itineraries that stop at Castaway but not anywhere else in the Bahamas...
Looks like they have several cruises left on the Magic, with the last cruise, being Halloween themed departing Miami on October 5.
Fixed your dumba$$ statement
All the new ships are LNG fueled, which means they'll need the facilities at Port Canaveral, so yes
Isn't Disney getting purpose-built facilities in Fort Lauderdale for just this reason?
We did the DVC cruise in 2018 for 5 nights with two stops at CC and no Nassau. It was great!!
You seem nice.Fixed your dumba$$ statement
Port Everglades has the ability to fuel LNG. Cruise terminal 4 has facilities that can handle all of Disney’s ships.
There are also "triple dips." Two stops and Castaway AND one stop at Lighthouse. There are.
I think there's a fair amount of people that enjoy walking over to the 'Straw Market' and get a positive feeling of having visited another 'country'.
Beauty and the beast on the dream is very well done. This is not the show from Hollywood studios. The only thing those two things have in common is the name. Vastly superior in production values and scope is the beauty and the beast that is on the dream as it is Genuinely on Broadway show caliber production. I'm glad it's getting on the trailer. I felt both Aladdin and Little mermaid fell a little flat on the Wish. The best show on the Wish is the too short Goofy's Seas the adventure show.Eh, I think it's be difficult to have an adventure themed ship and not have a lounge similar to this JC one. That they'll tie in corny jokes and references to the attractions is, I think, a positive.
Zootopia and Coco are not used very much in parks so they don't feel like tapping the same well repeatedly, at least imo. (But ask me again in a few years after if the runored WDW park additions happen.) Even the Lion King area looks more primarily designed as African adventure with Lion King more as an afterthought to hit a check box. I mean, it's not like it's throwing up simbas. everywhere. The Zootopia sweet shop shop? I thought it was pretty clever. It's not as though they just plopped something like "Goofy's Candy Company ... At Sea!" as an option.
But another Beauty and the Beast stage show is another matter. I'm sure it'll be beautiful but that's one I'd love to see something different. Tangled, Jungle Book, Aladdin, Peter Pan, and ***Treasure Planet*** would have been great and fit the overall theme better than Beauty and the Beast.
Shhhhh. I'd also I agree. I think the Magic and the Wonders days are numbered. I was genuinely surprised and relieved that the Magic received a structural addition of a concierge lounge to its top decks and it's very recent to dry dock. Investments like that give me hope that the ship has a little bit more than just 5 years left to it.Is Australia/Oceana viable all year?
Or maybe they retire the Magic, which would break my heart.
The lack of a full circular walking track promenade that some say is a non-issue on the Wish due to its shorter voyages will really be tested (annoying) on the 7-night Treasure cruises.
This is when there are 7 ships (ignoring Global Dream 2.)
Port Canaveral always has 2. But they have made plans for a 3rd using Terminal 10.
Fort Lauderdale has been promised 2.
Potentially as the Terminal 10 arrangement was agreed pre COVID and pre Fort Lauderdale the 3rd PC ship has been reallocated to FL?
Either way 4 ships in Florida in winter still leaves 1 currently unaccounted for based on your locations unless it finds a new port or stays somewhere for longer… Europe all year perhaps?
