Disney Treasure, DCL’s 6th ship, debuts in 2024

Either way 4 ships in Florida in winter still leaves 1 currently unaccounted for based on your locations unless it finds a new port or stays somewhere for longer… Europe all year perhaps?
Is Australia/Oceana viable all year?

Or maybe they retire the Magic, which would break my heart.

We seem to be missing some bar announcements.

(Wish) = (Treasure)
The Bayou = Skipper Society
Nightingales = More Magic Coming Deck 3
SW Hyperspace = More Magic Coming Deck 3
Keg & Compass = Periscope Pub
The Rose = The Rose
Currents = Currents
Hook's = Hook's

I prefer the colours they are using on the Treasure over the Wish but I think it's incredibly lazy to apparently not sort some obvious issues they had with the Wish. Hyperspace lounge for example is way too small where the 3rd Party stores take up way too much space.

Not having different themes for the Marvel Restaurant,Cinemas or Kids clubs is damn lazy too.

I’m surprised it’s 2024 as well. Generally they take about 2 years to build, so maybe? It could be a 2024 delivery with a maiden in early 2025.

And Lighthouse Point was Joe Rohde’s final project so it’s going to be breathtaking.

Maiden voyage is December 21, 2025. A 7 nighter

Two ships seasonally in Europe.
They couldn't fill the one ship they sent to Europe.

I'm not saying 7 ships are too many, I'm just pushing back on this silly (IMO) idea that people are throwing around that they're going to run 5 of 7 ships out of Florida year-round. It's not going to happen.

Wish and Treasure in Port Canaveral. Fantasy and Magic in Port Everglades. However, if the Dream is too big for Europe, then move the Magic back to Europe and permanently port the Dream at Port Everglades with the Fantasy.

Those aren't the only options, though.

Right now, they have a single ship serving Alaska, San Diego, Hawaii, and Australia. That can be expanded. They have a single ship part-time serving New Orleans, Galveston, San Juan, and New York. That can be expanded. The options aren't just "Europe or Florida."

Except the majority of cruises departing from US ports are in the Caribbean.

I would hope the 3rd Titan class ship is dedicated to the West Coast. But not Alaska as a smaller ship is more appropriate.

Australia is seasonal. But they have options. Tampa year round. Galveston year round. Seasonal trips up to Canada. More on west coast. Two ships seasonally in Europe. RCL has 26 ships. DCL can figure out what to do with 7.

Except the Dream didn't sell too well in Europe. I think a smaller ship would be more appropriate, like the Magic

We looked at a DCL Norway or Scandinavia. Couldn't see Norway and the others on one trip, so we did it ourselves via flights/trains etc.

I'd personally welcome 3-4 night itineraries with no stops in Nassau.

I think the registration of their ships in the Bahamas may require a stop at Nassau. But I agree. I use Nassau day as a spa day. And others have caught on and are staying on board.
