Does anyone have any Disney tradition? Every Christmas my family goes to Disney World. My husband stands on the Main Street Train Station platform above to take a picture of our four girls and I standing in front of the Christmas tree. We come out like little specs but I feel it isn't Christmas unless my husband takes that picture. One year I noticed in the picture a man standing in the background behind us and posing in our picture. I didn't even know he was there. He was standing with us like one of the family.

Here's a quick-hit list of some of our traditions:

Downtown Disney on the first day there
Dole Whips
French Pastries
"Exploring" our resort after dark
rest days where we ride to other resorts

I'm sure there are more. I'll add them as I think of them...

My fiancee and I started a new tradition in 2006, hanging out at the Grand Floridian Pool bar, the pool with the rocks. The bartenders there are great.

At Christams we take the first day to visit all of the resorts to look at the trees and decorations. The 18 year old always goes in search of new hidden Mickeys. We always regardless of the time of year watch the fireworks at EPCOT on the patio in Mexico......... and then take a slow walk back to the BC. We have a few more but these are the three most importatant for us.

We always go straight to PotC on the first day, and I call someone back home while on the ride and say "yoo hoo!...guess where I'm calling you from!"

Oh Man, where to begin...

-Hoop-De-Doo at some point on the trip
-New, thanks to Jon & Kate + 8, going on Dumbo & yelling "Fly Dumbo.."
-Illuminations, Wishes, Fantasmic.
-kids try to make dad sick on the teacups.:hurl:
-Picture of my wife & kids at the head of Main Street w/ the castle behind.
-Many Mickey bars.
-We try a new restaraunt every time. Current favorite, California Grill
-Surf waves out the yin-yang at Typhoon Lagoon.

New traditions come every trip.:D

We have a few:
MK the first day
We always ride the monorail on the way in and the ferry out of MK
Always dash to Splash for our first ride
Then eat a Dole Whip
We always eat our first lunch at Pecos Bills
Our new (started last year) tradition is to go on our anniversary, we love it!
We have also ended with Wishes (now, used to be Fantasy in the Sky) on every trip but last year and we ended with EPCOT. This year we will be eating Dinner at Chef Mickeys then going back to end the day with Wishes...

The magic Kingdom the last night (attempting to be the last to leave the park.) My DW usually cries at this point.

Visit other hotels and make a wish list of places to stay.
Celebrate either birthdays or anniversary

Mine are generally centered around food. I must have a dole whip, school bread, sugar cookies from the GF, hot dog at Casey's, etc.. We also like to try a new restaurant each time we go.
