Disney to buy Marvel Entertainment

[The Conundrum]

I really want all the Marvel stuff at Disney and I want Universal to get into a deal with DC because I hate the way Six Flags abuses the rights to DC Comics. Its such a joke and I know that Disney and Universal can do so much with those rights.

Plus this way, I will get my Star Wars/Jurassic Park/Harry Potter/Disney/Marvel/DC fill everytime I come to Orlando.

Now we just need to get some better Indiana Jones representation down here and we'll be set :lol:

Harry Potter is going to blow everything away when it opens.

Do you have any details as to what attractions will be in there because ive been wanting to find out and never came across anything.

I can't comment - but most of the Marvel third-party licensing arrangements will be honored. The Paramount deal will continue (I believe there are five pictures left after Iron Man II) but will not be renewed.

However WDP&R will shortly commence Blue Sky theorizing on how best to use the characters within the parks. They can't make it happen overnight so NBC-U will have time to pull out.

As soon as I can comment further I will do so

More I can agree on.. Six Flags kills the DC characters..... Sad how they treat them...

Nuetron I agee with but thats because they were characters I grew up with, and the curent shower are a bit too new to have featured in the Jr Saks lives.

not 100%, but saw an article about it in some Orlando website. BTW, it isn't JUST a car. You'll see when the ride opens why all this hype was started.

Why oh why has Six flags not gone bankrupt already???? DC deserves so much more. I hate WB and I hate Six Flags they are ruining a great thing.

no one knows who Gamora is.... I hope you're kidding about these suggestions about putting these characters no one knows about front and center in the parks. It's unrealistic imo.
