I'm confused. Is this considered as something desirable, to just plunk food down outside my door? I kinda like having the waiter roll a table in and do just a bit of setup. If that's the only difference, I'll choose in-room setup every time.
This is what I'm wondering. Sandwiches and boxed lunches? Those are already available with normal in room dining...but it would be nice to order for a certain time and be left by your door. Maybe coordinate it for a time that you're returning to the room but don't want to deal with full service, and don't want to spend time stopping at the pool bar or QS. I guess that could be attractive to some people.Have you seen a menu? Will it be mainly grab and go type prepackaged items they can deliver quickly?
Just what I want...my food order left at my doorstep....
My thought as well. Packaged food doesn't take any additional "set up", take the extra step and open the door, leave it in the room.

For god sakes, Disney, just knock on my door and I'll take it into my room.....
When I saw the title of the new service, I thought, wow, a menu that wasn't the standard room service of sandwiches, pizza, maybe steaks and chicken. Like beautiful, fresh farm to table style food. Didn't realize they were really talking about dropping your meal on the floor in front of your room.
No way. Hopefully, no way. I think room service is pretty popular. Can't see that leaving. My fear is this will REPLACE in-room Dining and be another example of Disney only willing to provide Motel Six service levels while charging Four Seasons prices.
Maybe someone is heading back to the room, or relaxing in a robe, or just doesn't want to deal with anyone early in the morning.lolWhat's wrong with LEAVING IT IN THE ROOM!!!!, For crying out loud every Hilton I've ever stayed at delivers my LAUNDRY to my room.
Maybe they need to drop it at your door because there is no space in the tiny room to set anything up???No way. Hopefully, no way. I think room service is pretty popular. Can't see that leaving.

I don't know, I doubt I'd use it, but I can see where it may come in handy. Especially if the QS is inconvenient to get to or typically crowded.
How was your visit over Marathon weekend?Just more Four Seasons Price, Motel Six service....
