I think if I were to get one it would something very subtlety disney or something like the EPCOT logo where only other disney fans would know what it was.
I get so excited when people recognize mine. Surprisingly, it's only happened once while in Disney.

I really want a Mickey tattoo on my ankle......but I am too chicken to do it!!

if it's pain you're afraid of then you needn't worry. Ankles and shoulders are general lower on the scale for pain ratings when it comes to tats. I've got a rather complex one on my shoulder (my family crest) and it didn't hurt too much.

And a mickey tattoo should never be too complex, so it's probably not that expensive or painful.

I'm not a tattoo guy at all and probably will never get one, but my wife and I have always joked about getting a "hidden mickey" tattoo. Just a tiny classic Mickey silhouette in a random spot. You could make it the color of a mole, or even just take an existing mole and add ears to it. Maybe someday...

I have one on my right shoulder just about the length and width of the shoulder blade. Quite large for my first one. The only thing that hurt was the outline. Coloring it in was a breeze. It's of 2 of the 3 most favorite places/teams in the world. South Carolina and UK (University of KY). All I need now is a disney tattoo. I would insert a pic of it but I can't figure out how.

foot tattoos tend to fade quicker, and used to be illegal due to the thin skin on the top of the foot. If your artist isn't very good, the lines bleed badly. If you are sure of getting a tat on a foot, please go to someone with experience.

I have a tattoo (non-Disney related) on the top of my right foot. I originally got it done about 8 years ago, and it definitely faded. I just had it re-inked and had something else added to it a couple months ago, and I'm very happy with it. I don't have the highest pain threshold, but it HURT!!
