I just did a mental add up of our trip. At first it was just 10 days at POFQ for 7 people ( 2 rooms) with free dining..so in my mind..reasonably priced.

THEN I added a night at BWI because I got the room for 30% off.. well then I added ANOTHER night because 2 quiet days is so much better than one and the room wasn't THAT expensive ( in relation to 2 rooms at POFQ). SUCked in eh?

Then out came Photopass+..well I debated and Disney won my money again ( I do NOT say this negatively..this is all per my own choice).. I mean really..pictures..the more the better right?

next MNSSHP..well who doesnt want to trick or treat in the MK?? we sure do.. and off goes more of my hard earned money..again VERY willingly..but ya know.. Disney def has the market on magically turning my money into their money...and leaving me smiling as I hand it over to them :) 477 hours to go!

The only thing we don't do is photo pass CD. We usually only like a couple of the photo's anyways, plus how many pictures do you really need in front of Rock n Rollercoaster? MNSSHP however is an obsession for us. We went in August last year, so we missed it for 2011. Not this year, c'mon 9/18.

So true we did the same thing our last trip. We added two extra days and so much more. In the end I felt it was all worth it. It was our daughters first trip.

Next one is going to be even bigger.

It's funny though no matter how much you spend, on that last you never want to leave.

For me, with 4 kids, and this being the last time we ever vacation with our family the way it is, photopass is def a must do. I want a million pictures of us!

I don't blame Disney for my addiction. They haven't done anything special lately to draw me in. I'm doing it all by myself. Alison1975 is right. Each time I plan a WDW vacation it never feels like enough. I always want to add "just one more thing".

Thats why we do 14 nights offsite for $600.

We are all different but this is why we own timeshares, non DVC. We used 14 nights at ours and added a night for $184.00. Two bedrooms, full kitchen, laundry dining area.

I love Photopass+. Our entire family was there with us including our first great granddaughter and we have a ton of pictures.

Yes indeed!! I have to put myself in check with this all the time! :) I work really hard for the money we have and am pretty much pretty cheap with everything else. I will find the cheaper option, use a coupon, go without...except at Disney. My DH and I were just talking about this Friday night with friends of ours who were impressed how reasonable the amount of money for 10 days at POR with MYW PH Tix, plus Photopass Plus, and MNSSHP and dining and airfare was. But as my DH explained, when it comes to spending money at Disney, its like "making it rain up in here!" He doesn't like to tell himself no or he can't on trips to WDW. His view is like mine, we bust our behinds all year - we can have 10 days to not have a care in the world.

Exactly! We work very hard and we dont wanna skimp at Disney. I go without so does my hubby.. we are minimalist everywhere in our lives..except Disney. We went 11 years without going because of raising 4 kids ( 3 born within 3.5 years)..now that they are older and we can financially go..we go big or go home! ( heck I may just have thought of the name of my TR..lmao)

Yes, they do suck us in, but in this case I don't mind being called a sucker! I have never looked back and wished that I would have stayed at home and saved that money. I can't say the same for other family vacations that we have made to other destinations.

Totally agree - we go to the Cape every year with my husband's family but the only trips my kids talk about is DIsney - the pictures we treasure? Disney. Talk to my parents and they can talk about other trips but what do they go back to? DIsney - just sayin!!:D
