That is maintenance and tech for the division as a whole - not just parks. A lot of that money will be going to other aspects of the division like consumer products, video games, Adventures by Disney, Storyliving (is that still a thing?) and maintenance for the cruise ships.
Yes Storyliving is still a thing. Sales have started in Palm Desert and i hear they are doing well and lots of interest even at the high prices. Was actually surprise to hear that even though pricing is high at a time that housing market is not great in that area, Disney is still
Lower than other similar club house fees in area
The main lagoon is ready and will start filling with water around September.

The more I hear about these numbers, the less excited I become.

Wake me up when there is a real project getting underway.
I’m sure this is also factoring in inflation over the decade or 2 it will actually take to complete all these expansions.

It’s a ton of money but I suspect it’ll be similar to what we saw from 2005-2015, a new land in each park but probably not enough to keep up with demand.

From 2005 to 2015 we got DCA2.0, New Fantasyland, Pandora, and 2 Star Wars lands… I’m thrilled to see a return to building more substantial lands again but I think it’s just going to cover the current overcrowding rather than creating enough new capacity to spread the crowds out a bit.

I’ll take it but I’m not expecting park altering changes.

I’ve seen elsewhere where I believe D’Amaro seemed to indicate they were already spending into the $60B, so the WDW allotment would include Tiana and the finishing of EPCOT (and possibly, DVC Cabins and Poly tower)

I think the distribution of investment is quite sensical. What did you expect?
Honestly I didn’t expect much because it’s almost impossible for a business to create a 10 year plan and stick to it. Things always change. That’s why I’m so anxious for them to actually start doing something. Otherwise they’re just going to keep bouncing ideas between committees and never get anything accomplished. At some point, somebody’s gotta have the you know whats to greenlight a project and see it through. They’re all talk and no action.
