Which is?Or Option C.
I knew about the previously mentioned Avatar “experience” for DLR which is why I was wondering how the talk seemed to morph into a whole land. So it is either than Iger misspoke (seems more likely) or perhaps it is possible if DLR actually develops DL Forward and expands the park space.
First expansion announced, going to Shanghai in the form of a new attraction located adjacent to Zootopia but separately themed
China's picking up half the cost, no?
Wouldn't surprise me if it's something like Cosmic Rewind. Seems like every resort is destined to get a version (rethemed or not) of it. It's great, easily interchangeable in theming and high-capacity.
Hopefully newer versions will actually offer something of substance to look at."Cosmic Rewind - Now inducing nausea on multiple continents! Because dammit, we have to force you to look at things."

That would then be... a coaster.Or just don't force rotation and make the show scenes visible without it.
Yep. I was surprised to discover that they have been thrilling and delighting guests for decades without forced, nausea-inducing rotation. Learned something new today! That would then be... a coaster.
Does that mean only $8.5 billion of the proposed $17 billion investment into WDW is going to added capacity. So now only half will be spent on parks and resorts worldwide. Anyone else surprised?
Well it’s parks AND resorts so who knows where some of that could go...could even be things like new fort wilderness trailers.Does that mean only $8.5 billion of the proposed $17 billion investment into WDW is going to added capacity.
It says right on top 70% is for expansion so Im reading it as 50% is expansion of parks and 20% expansion of ships 30% is maintenance of parks and technology. Am I wrong? We always knew some was for the cruise line and some had to be for regular maintenance.
Maintenance for what then?I would be careful when reading "maintenance" as being theme parks maintenance. It is separate from theme parks for a reason
