Disney Parks to Ban Straws

I was attempting a joke at playing around with your "special need" of having to carry an additional item.
Honestly, I regret even getting involved in this discussion.

Having said that, Hydroflask makes an amazing line of double-insulated thermos. Personally, I carry a red 40oz with me just about everywhere I go. At first glance it looks like a small fire extinguisher. I bring the backpack though so I can free up my hands.

Haha I see now. But the “special need” isn’t the fact that I have to carry another item. The item would be the result of that need. Basically Tony the Tigger, earth activist / plastic annihilator and premium member of WDW magic who only comes out of the woodworks to talk about plastic was trying to say I’m being a whiny . And I’m saying yo, Tony the Tigger I’m going to the parks with a tantrum throwing toddler not my adult boyfriend.

The flask/ backpack situation sounds convenient.

Just while we're on the topic of bringing things into the parks, guns and knives should be allowed and you can't change my mind on this.

I knew someone who was a police officer- worked under cover in LA. Refused to go anywhere without his gun.

Every year his kids would get free Six Flags tickets from school or something, but Six Flags has a strict no gun policy and requires police officers to check their concealed carry into the on site sheriff department.

He would bring two guns- check in one and bring the other into the park.

Makes me wonder how many do this for Disney.

Lol I swear I don’t care this much. Just would like to give folks some perspective as most people not bothered by this situation appear not to have children.

Well I can't speak for anyone else. But just because one may not have any biological children doesn't mean one hasn't been in similar situations with children.

They'd have to get it through bag check and a metal detector, so hopefully none.
