It seems a lot of people seem to have the parks audio. But I just can't figure out where in the world to get this music! Specifically, I really really really want the audio for the Wishes fireworks. Sure, I can listen to it on sorcerer radio, but I want it on my iPod :king: Can anyone help a gal out?

Try Mousebits, theres a nice torrent called The WDW Forever Project. Of course, you need to convert the FLAC files to MP3, but it is surely worth it. If you find another site, let me know because I could use some more Disney on my iPod.

You need to register over there first. Also, you'll need the free program "UTorrent" to download the torrents that contain the files at the site. I've downloaded hours of music over there and have over 200 songs downloaded in my iTunes. The Sounds of Magic is also another good one, if you google the name.

Hope that helps!

Just search Google for the Wishes soundtrack. Mousebits does NOT have any albums or music that is commercially available, so don't waste your time.

Just don't look on YouTube. Everything there is inaccurate, partial, or inappropriately redistributed. Mousebits is the best.

That's certainly not true, there's some great stuff on YouTube. Often, people will record the visuals of a show like Wishes, and then put the CD music over the video. I use that in conjunction with a program called Freecorder which lets you record music off of your computer.

And there is some truely awful, mislabled stuff on YouTube too.

Wishes is on CD. Support the release of future park CDs and buy it.

Will this app split tracks into different files if there is a silent space between them?

I am trying to convert vinyl to mp3 and am not having luck with the apps I have tried.

Thanks!

Yes, I suppose from a legal/morality point, Martin wins. :)

It will record from when you hit "record" and sound starts going through the speakers, until you hit "stop."

Forgot to mention about that, so thanks for pointing it out.

Yeah, Wishes, Illuminations (the current show), most of the Animal Kingdom music, SpectroMagic, Fantasmic and various attraction medleys (not the full ones though) on the Official Album can be available for purchase at most WDW stores. You may also be able to find some of those on Ebay as well. I don't know if the Disney Store has any of them but it wouldn't hurt to check.

Mousebits is still a good source though. They have lots of stuff that isn't released (or the full attraction audios that only just parts of them are on the Official Album). I got the full Horizons, Ellen's Energy Adv, World of Motion, SSE (94-07), the Haunted Mansion soundtracks, plus some other goodies over there. You just have to look for them. Worth checking out.

Mousebits.com is the BEST place for park audio.

Grab the WDW Forever Project.

Word of Warning Though:
It is VERY time consuming to get it all organized into iTunes.

Many of the files have a bizarre 2 second gap at the start of them, which ruins the continuity of many of them. A lot of very quiet too, so you might want to use a program like Audacity to amplify their peak levels to just below 0 dB (and remove those gaps). It took me a few days to get through everything, but I finally got it all organized in Apple Lossless on my iTunes and burned to CD's for maximum listening on my stereo :)

I have ordered music from Amazon and have an "ok" selection of music on my i-pod, but, more is ALWAYS better! The suggestions on this thread are wonderful, if I buy or download. Thank you all! I am very much try to get things together for the next trip for music in our room and surprise my sis and her family in her room!

I'm currently up to 22 CD's total (between the ones I bought in the parks, plus all the music I've downloaded from Mousebits and some of the people from this site). I know that will not last forever as someone recently uploaded the Triceratops Spin and WDW monorail 2010 audio to Mousebits. I know I'll be finding a lot more before our trip in Sept.
