It sounds like you just pick a start date, but don't need to pick dates for each park.
You just pick a start date for your ticket to begin. There's no picking of parks. That’s not the reservation system going away, it’s being merged into your ticket purchase process. You’ll still have to pick a park for each day of park admission purchased.
At the moment, there are no changes:Yeah, what does this mean for park hopping?
They can put whatever they want in the terms and conditions, it continues to be deceptive to sell a “no blackout day” pass that they then artificially black out because they want to sell more day tickets. If they go down this road again, they will get sued again. They included language in the terms and conditions for renewals and new purchases to cover that:
"To enter a Walt Disney World® Resort theme park, each Passholder is required to have both a theme park reservation and Pass valid for admission to the same park on the same date they plan to visit. With the purchase of a Pass, Passholders become eligible to make park reservations to visit during their Pass term. Park reservations for Passholders are limited in number and subject to the availability of park reservations allocated to Passes as determined by Disney,"
No, it’s a big change because you don’t have to pick your park at the time you purchase your ticket (and can choose to go to whatever park you want the morning of). They already changed it so a reservation is automatically included with a date based ticket. This is really no net change, but just removing the reservation requirement on the backend
And annual passholders. (Unless you are ok with never going to the parks in the mornings or MK on weekends I guess). This has the potential to destroy the experience for Disney Cast Members traveling from out-of-town who have a resort reservation.
Pricing is still variable by day and by park…so a bit of a shell game there, no?No, it’s a big change because you don’t have to pick your park at the time you purchase your ticket (and can choose to go to whatever park you want the morning of).
That attendance is this far down?I'm shocked
Pricing is only variable for 1 day tickets park to park on the same day. Multi day tickets are not variable ont he same day (they are variable from day to day though).Pricing is still variable by day and by park…so a bit of a shell game there, no?
What made you think they cared about them? This has the potential to destroy the experience for Disney Cast Members traveling from out-of-town who have a resort reservation.
Same question? And annual passholders. (Unless you are ok with never going to the parks in the mornings or MK on weekends I guess).
To be clear, i mean that, the parks all cost the same price as each other **unless* you are buying a 1 day ticket.Pricing is only variable for 1 day tickets park to park on the same day. Multi day tickets are not variable ont he same day (they are variable from day to day though).
