The stuff in the stores is the same as what’s in the parks now? They weren’t in September, the park bars were still the premium offering with better chocolate and ice cream.

If the bars in the stores are the premium bars, I’m fine with that (and it’s long overdue). If the opposite is the case now, I’m dusting off my pitchfork and lighting my torch.
The store are like $10 for 4

In like Wally’s

I read where the plan is to phase out the reservation system. They've already begun this (albeit slowly) with the removal of park reservations for APs after 2. With an oncoming recession (let's be honest, we're already in it, the Fed just doesn't want to call it that) and pent up vacation desires from Covid waning, we'll see how they switch strategies.

But will this mean a return to any of the pre-Chapek perks?

The park reservation system isn’t going away.

I thinks you’re misreading that

If they do “suspend them”…they’ll never say eliminate…it’s because they are in a full blown travel recession. Low occ/damage control.

Good for US…for a change.

To be fair…they do have a new incentive to cut out the reservations when things are softer:

That was my experience, but I'm being told that may not be the case anymore. I'm just wondering which direction they went - Improve the product in stores, or reduce the quality of the product in the parks. The bars sold in stores were a bland ice cream with milk chocolate. The bars in the parks were a richer ice cream with a darker chocolate.

Such as?

I can give you a pretty good idea if you want to list what you’re thinking of?
Well, this is a wishlist, but it's pretty much what you'd expect:
Free FP
Unlimited Parkhopping
Free transport to/from airport
Evening EMH for all resort guests (at no extra charge)
Basically, everything that was still an option when I last went to WDW in 2017.

I was all set to go in May 2020, too, but that didn't end up happening for obvious reasons. Now I don't really want to go until things are closer to how they were.

The Dove bars are closer to the ones sold in the parks than the ones slapped with the disney label on the front of the box.

No…people pay for the same stuff now. Hard no.
Unlimited Parkhopping
Perhaps…they’ll spin it as a benefit…but it will be to cover their lack of attendance and extra minimal staffing IF it happens
Free transport to/from airport
Maybe? If Bob gets desperate I could see that as an outside chance. Universal building is pressure there
Evening EMH for all resort guests (at no extra charge)
Possibly…again depending on lack of attendance

Unfortunately ALOT of these things were stuff they had dreamed about for decades…and they used the excuse, scapegoated chapek for it, and disposed of him.

How nice and “clean”
