The best part about using Launch Bay is you could likely start construction without even closing it. What's being used wouldn't be much more than queue space when the main building was done.

Why are we talking about lightbulbs?

Seriously, light bulbs? Come on guys.

Why you taking such a dim view of this tangent?

Dear Disney!

Can you help a brother out by keeping GMR open until mid-September? I want to say my goodbyes.

Signed,

Giant GMR fan.

P.S. Please don't get rid of this ride. Make it the Great Disney Movie ride and put only Disney movies in (if you have to), but please don't destroy this classic ride system and attraction. Especially at a time when you have so few rides at DHS. The Mickey ride would fit great over in the Animation Courtyard don't ya think.
He meant DECEMBER. Everything else is correct.

After reading several pages in this thread I have given up....so sorry if this has already been hashed out, but does anyone know if TGMR is definetly closing and if so when?

I'm probably in the minority too, but I'm super excited for a Mickey Ride! Anyone heard any specifics or anything on the style of the attraction?

Also want to say that even with a lot closed in HS, we still can't do everything in one day, if we count M&G and all the shows (including on the stage). So people who never been or don't go often can easily spend an entire day or two, especially if you're like us and like to sit down, take in the theming, try a TS restaurant, etc. I don't think the GMR closing will make such a difference, especially since at that point, will be at what, 10 months of Toys story land opening?

Do you work for Disney PR?... LOL Seriously...with GMR gone, the park will have 4 rides left. Has there ever been a Disney Park with only 4 rides? In order to fill a day you have to be doing a lot of standby queues, every meet & Greet in the park, lots of bathroom and dining time and at least 4 hours of shopping....Seriously you are TDO's dream customer. Thrilled with an absolutely stripped down park and still saying it is more than you can do...
And this, my friends is why the parks are slowly downgrading...
