Enough to move the needle?

I’d bet the under on that.
Not likely for cancellations. Possibly as far as future trips go. Like I said, I'm not going while masks are required indoors. I wasn't planning to go until late October or November so it might be a moot point by then.

I think what is more likely is this leading to arguments and physical altercations. You're going to have the "mask police" guests that say something to somebody in line when their mask slips below the nose and an argument is going to ensue. There will be some that just don't comply to create a confrontation with CMs on purpose.

Since Disney is not an essential thing for me to do, I will personally comply with their policies or not visit if I don't like the policies. There is a decent percentage of people on my side of this debate who are not as civil.

My bet is it's a wash. Talked to two friends in the last 24 hours who had cancelled trips when Disney lifted the mask mandates that are now scrambling to book last minute trips.

Disney is not in the business of Covid mitigation. They’ll do what the CDC guidelines suggest. No way they voluntarily impose restrictions that affect their profits. They’re probably sick and tired of all this like we are.
CDC didn’t mandate masks indoors though just recommended it again. This will affect their profits again in some way

I have no doubt the Disney board and administration are like other businesses: would you Americans please just get the damn vaccine?

I don’t expect more people to book Disney right now than cancel with rising covid cases and new mask requirements

Probably not through me but if a few have cancelled or rescheduled that I’ve booked (and I don’t do that many) I suspect it’s happening or will happen with most others as well to some capacity

don’t forget just the look of going back to mask mandates could scare people from going now too where it is or appears worse now so it’s not just those that don’t want to mask
This is true, it is scaring people who are already and would be wearing masks in the parks prior. More that I thought it would

Although indoor masking is a good first step, it might not be enough. Making Guests wear masks while indoors costs Disney nothing.

People will be standing in line for 30 to 60 minutes next to others who are only a couple of feet away.

If Disney were serious about this, they'd also reduce theme park capacity and reinstitute social distancing. But these impact Disney's bottom line.

Come on Disney, do the right thing.
I don't know how Disney can reduce capacity at this point without a hard shut down and reset. Disney is not going to put themselves in a position where they have to pick and choose what park passes they want to honor and who they are going to turn away. However I do think that the mask guidance is ridiculous in the fact that I can literally be pressed against the guy in front and behind me for HEA without a mask, then have to ware a mask while doing the same thing on the bus ride home or shop to get a soda.

CDC is currently not recommending this,.so why would Disney do it?

That’s like me! I’ve gone 4 times this year and was set that I was done with the mask mandates gone. Now that they are back, I might be too lol.

Here's a sample of current theme park availability:

What Disney can do is stop allowing even more people to book these dates.

Mask police? That's just propaganda.
It's not like reminding someone of the fact that their mask has slipped is any different than telling them that their fly is open. If someone would start a physical altercation over that then they are coming to the parks with violence in mind. Yes, CM's should alter the sheriff and have them removed.
