It's definitely not the end all, be all ... but Walt said the Fireworks were his "thank you" to the guests for spending their day at his park so it is a pretty key element in having a complete Disney day experience to many

I can understand that… but I would argue the nighttime shows today have less value than say 10 years ago even ? Let alone during Walt’s time.

Not trying to bash entertainment capping off a park trip. Trying to prevent people from justifying a 6 or 7 o clock park close because fireworks happen.

This sounds more appealing to adults than families for sure. The two new "lounges", the Latin street fair. Lot's of food and drink.

I see they’re finally gonna capitalize on HToT theming and do a party within the party. Nothing like paying $200 bucks to get in and then another $150 bucks for another party.

Also MVMCP is $159-$199 this year. I hope for that price they’re doing after hours numbers and not party numbers, but we all know they aren’t.

It seems to be a pretty cool offering. Since I no longer have an AP this is a great way to get in do some unique stuff and ride the rides in a much more comfortable environment than during the day.

That’s mildly appealing to me as well. I’d like to see pictures, videos, and some unbiased reviews though before I paid for that. It is nice to have some more adult oriented options that include something other than nasty cookies and cold cocoa.

I wanted that too but the limited number leads me to believe they may sell out faster than MVMCP

Sounds like a terrible waste of money to me. So many other, better, seasonal offerings in Florida. Hope those who toss their money at this enjoy it, we won't be among them.

If you haven't already, check out the Asian Lantern Festival at the Central Florida Zoo. Now, that's a fun event at a decent price. Plenty of other stuff around too. They also have the GKTW lights at Island H2O.

Normally I love me a party, but the sugary drinks, that probably are not included, would not be tempting for us. :D
The ones they have pictures of say additional cost, but i'm wondering if any food is included... doesn't appear to have after hours food options

The DHS event sounds interesting - like that they will have the Muppets and seems to be a tease for a Nightmare Before Christmas offering.

The events at the Brown Derby and the ToT courtyard sound interesting (though not sure the impact of those being described as "limited capacity")

If I was local or int he area anyway I would be tempted to check this out.

Not sure enough to get people to book a trip to get weren't already planning on, but maybe combined with the resort discounts. Heck, could just do the two parties and not buy any other park tickets

Will Kermit and Piggy be Puppets or life size like the early 90's??

Will these events be available to all after the final date?
