I didn't know what you meant until now. I just now got to this portion of the video. You're referring to Disney senior staff cutting in line for the influencers who took several minutes each. I can see why she would be ticked off. Not angry at the influencers but Disney management who wanted the content. That is so wrong, depriving paying guests of their rightful place in the queue.
I’d be angry at the influencers as well. Low class move

Why should the first night be more packed than the second night? Both are sold out! Oh , it's because Disney COMPED hundreds of influencers and media for the event and didn't count them towards the total.
I am not sure if influencers are counted toward the limit or not, but they will naturally stress a party more than normal on opening night because they will a) focus their attention on all of the new offerings and b) order and comment on absolutely everything on the menu, resulting in longer-than-normal dining times.

What normal guests hears: Sounds like it was a $159 per person dumpster fire.

What Disney hears: Sounds like we should charge $179 per person next year.

We bought JN tickets about a month ago. They’re $179+tax the week we are at WDW ($190/person).

2 reasons I caved and bought them:
  • WDW pulled the MK EEH, no AK EEH either, also yanked the extra HS EEHs from 2022. EP only our week.
  • Target Circle offer for 20% off deal (and no tax? *shrug*) meant $143/person. Best deal I’ve seen.
Our night sold out shortly after we bought. I’ve all ready written off bothering with lame JBJB fireworks- maybe we can slam some shorter rides in that last 60-90 mins. First is to see the Hollywood Holiday show, get magic shots, hang in a quiet StarWarsLand, maybe see Nightmare, ride ToT. If there’s unique cool photography angles that may help my overall impression.

We want to enjoy JN and will give it our best shot. After the EEH shenanigans it really needs to not be a major disappointment. If some wrinkles are ironed out maybe we’ll be ok.

I'm doing the same. But with heads up reviews, I think I'll focus on the rides and shows. The rest -- M&G, Tip Top Club, HBD -- sounds like a waste of time.

I think if one treats it more like an after hours events and then fits in the two main shows (basically your plan) then it can be a good event ... Just all the cool, special stuff Disney promoted for it / what attracted people to it (the ounces, special foods dressing up, etc) is a logistical nightmare
