This was particularly a great example of over promised and under delivered. Something the company has been fine with for a long time.

We'll know if they are desperate for ticket sales if they drop an additional AP/DVC/CM discount after the next event.
You won't see additional AP/DVC/CM discounts. Otherwise, they'll have people who have already paid calling for the additional discount. Not gonna happen.

I think the biggest takeaway from Jollywood Nights is that they should build out a real Tip Top Club with a separate bank of elevators a-la Space 220. A beautiful Art-Deco Ballroom and restaurant with windows overlooking 1939 Hollywood and the hills...add Haunted craft cocktail lounge and it would be a fantastic hit... It would also make a great Special Events area.
For the low, low cost of $150 million.

Not everyone. But if you watch enough of these vlogs and aspiring influencers that rely on access for continued views and relevancy, you’d see they are repeatedly uniformly positive.

I have a lot more faith in what those who are not on the media lists say than those who are on them.

Put simply, I find Len Testa to be far more reliable to give an honest opinion than Paging Mr Morrow or his Very Online ilk.

Very measured description of what the night was for a typical family. Check it out @drew81 bloggers cutting the character lines with Disney PR handlers. Also shows there were no rain locations

She confirms the confusion about needing BOTH the wristband and the lanyard. WTH, Disney?

As I said initially, I think it's a fine line, and a refund is probably a right a vlogger is not entirely "wrong" to exercise. It just seems in poor taste because they're going to opening night 1) with the knowledge that it will be more packed than normal because their ilk is gumming up the works in order to shout "first!", 2) with the intent to monetize their review whether it is good or bad, 3) with the benefit that the experience being bad actually leads to more clicks in many cases, and 4) with the incentive to go to absolutely every event regardless of perceived quality because they want to generate content.

Compare the motive of "must consume all things Walt Disney World regardless of quality in order to create content for my channel" to "sounds like a fun thing for my family to do so that we can casually enjoy drinks and ride more rides". I am simply more sympathetic to the latter and feel that encountering duds is more a duty of the former if you're essentially making that your occupation.
Why should the first night be more packed than the second night? Both are sold out! Oh , it's because Disney COMPED hundreds of influencers and media for the event and didn't count them towards the total.

Yep. And the plaids cutting character lines is a Paris move. First I heard of it here
I didn't know what you meant until now. I just now got to this portion of the video. You're referring to Disney senior staff cutting in line for the influencers who took several minutes each. I can see why she would be ticked off. Not angry at the influencers but Disney management who wanted the content. That is so wrong, depriving paying guests of their rightful place in the queue.
