So Legoland has its own gingerbread mascot that is put on merch and appears in a show. The differences with Ollie are uncanny, as though someone in Disney legal was shouting at Ollie designers "MAKE IT MORE DIFFERENT, WE ARE NOT GETTING SUED OVER A GINGERBREAD MAN!"

Olllie:
Hair
Nose
Blue eyes
Tongue
Prominent cheeks
Clothes
One button
Has "thumbs"
Rounded feet
Leg squiggles go down-up-down-up

Lego Gingerbread Man:
No hair
No nose
Brown eyes
No tongue
No blushed cheeks
No clothes
Two buttons
No opposible "thumb"
Rectangular feet
Leg squiggles go up-down-up-down (upside down of Ollie)
I mean, it’s a gingerbread man. They all look pretty similar anyway.

Give Kids the World also has its own Gingerbread Man. Shameless of Disney to rip off a charity!

I hear you, but this Disney is not going to introduce something like a mascot that Disney can't quickly shift to selling merch if the character is popular, and they're not going to sell merch if they don't think they can differentiate against other gingerbread men both to protect against IP claims against Disney and to enforce's Disney's own IP claims against anyone they find "infringing" selling unlicensed Ollie merch.

Again, if the frustration here is that Disney is more concerned about Ollie's reception than the tragedy of the night, I think that's unfair. No one is questioning how bad it went and I'm sure Disney are well aware of the fixes they need to make, whether they're within budget or not for this year. People's opinions on Ollie, though, are more up in the air. It makes far more sense to survey about him than about Jollywood as a whole. You don't need a survey to see the amount of refunds and ticket transfers people are demanding.

Watched one blog where a guy was showing all the bloggers trying to get their reservation for Derby he pointed out Mr morrow. Said he knows he’ll make it in.

Sure enough Mr morrow and his crew got right it and had only glowing things to say.

So not everyone was being objective

Just got into the world of Disney vloggers on YouTube. That Mr Morrow guy is just unbearable, I assumed he was on the Disney payroll because not a single opinion seems genuine, it’s all very fake.

Can we get a list of all the bloggers and vloggers on Disney’s payroll for future notice?

Oh heaven's sake, yet another loaded survey designed to elicit the positive response that they want to hear. Most people are going to opt for one of the many positive choices and not many will go for the single "No, completely not interested" one. No more than a single positive choice of "Completely loved it, it was perfect" would get amongst a sea of more negative choices.

If people are asked "Would you like this" or "Would you like more" then of course they're going to say yes. Would be more telling if an alternative was listed so people could give an informed answer, e.g.

"Would you prefer us to spend money on developing the Ollie character more or a better Tip Top Club experience?"

Just wish Disney would stop focussing on characters and ways to extract more money from people and just concentrate on providing a quaility theme park experience. Doesn't matter how much you dress him up, Ollie is not a quality theme park experience that is worth spending $200 for 4 hours on.
