Disney, "I Am Legend" style...

id stay at the top of the tower of terror and steal summit plummit and attach it to the building for a fast escape route. Im sure there would be a large stash of fireworks at epcot that could be used against the zombies.

But when it come to transport around your home area, well there is loads of options to choose from there. The cars from LCA would be quite a quick way to get about (red car from that shows reminds me of the mention of "i am legend" back at the start) even tho that was a mustang i believe.

So what other comtraptins could be made (A-Team style) from items, object and rides within WDW?

The main question is: What kind of Zombies are we talking here?

The super athletic intellegent Zombies from I Am Legend...

or the literally brain dead ones from Dawn of the Dead (Where the same extras play different Zombies)

?

That's really the key question. You better hope it's the slow shuffling kind. If it's the fast smart ones like in 28 Days Later, well, then you're just toast.

I would say Epcot makes the most sense from a resources standpoint, but I think Magic Kingdom would be way easier to defend. Just barricade the entrances and get up on the castle with a sniper rifle!

Not technically Disney World but I would happily live in the Imagination Institute at DL (they have backup generators right???). Now that's a comfortable home.

Hmmm ... probably would hang out in Epcot. You've got The Land where you can farm as an ongoing food source. The Seas (as well as the Land's fish farms) would get pretty nasty without the filters running so I don't think those fish would last all that long in there.

The one good thing about the zombie apocalypse is that I'd be able to sneak into WoL to see if they were working on Star Tours II .. of course, by then it won't matter but at least my curiousity will be satiated.

OMG, they did make it and it's the greatest ride that ever existed.....and there is no power to run it!!!:brick::brick::brick::eek:

It would be like that Twilight Zone where Burgess Meredith is alone in the world and can finally read and smashes his glasses.

I'll take Pirates as home base. A few blasts from the canons should be able to take care of some Zombies. Afterwards sail on down for a little food, drink and a visit with the ladies.

Taking the hat at the studios down myself.

Magic Kingdom would seem the safest with the Utilidoors and strong show buildings.

And as for Zombie look out safety. I would have to say the Swiss Family Treehouse. Or anything with a lot of stairs. Zombies typically don't have the brain cordination to climb stairs.

And also, since a lot of people apparently have fantasies about this I will share something somewhat related. You guys might have some interest in a movie that has been in the works and filming for a while now. Zombie land look it up on imdb.com

I already plan on vacationing there 12/10/2012 - 12/17/2012. That way when the world ends I will already be there. I would hold up camp in the castle... I would try to fashion a radio and attach an antenna to the top of the castle for reception.

I would use animal kingdom as my own hunting ground.. Pins would become the new currency..... All will be welcome

In honor of a recent thread, I created this one. I thought it might be fun. It’s not meant to be negative! :p

I have always said, if there was a world devastating event, and I was one of the very few people left on the earth - via “I Am Legend” style - that I would travel to, and live in the obviously then abandoned Walt Disney World.

I already know that I’ve spent way to much time thinking about this. :king:

I would most likely have a number of different “homes,” a few consisting of the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, the Coronado Springs, and one of the ferry boats, sitting in the middle of the seven seas lagoon; just in case there were some genetically mutated zombies, so I could see them coming. :lookaroun

What would anyone else do? Where would you live? And don’t say the castle! That’s to original! :fork: :zipit:

Fun topic!

I would live in the brownstones in the UK Pavilion over looking the gardens. That is my favorite spot!!

That would be awesome, I would spend years searching every inch of the parks and hotels, seeing all the ins and outs.

I'd turn the California Grill into my penthouse. It has a great view of the surrounding area on both sides, and access to the monorail tracks to walk to MK, Epcot, or the resorts if necessary.

If I couldn't live in the castle, which would obviously be choice number one....I wouldn't mind living in Spaceship Earth. Those little futuristic bedrooms are pretty cool. I'd just want to be up high so the mutant zombies would have a tough time getting to me.

I guess living on Tom Sawyer's Island & disabling the boats would work too. It would be like my very own "Lost" island.

The better question is...are there crazy zombie/vampires roaming the parks at night?

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy in LEFT 4 DEAD: DISNEY WORLD!!
GOOFY: We made it, I can't believe we made it!
MICKEY: Son, we just crossed the street. Let's not throw a party 'till we're out of the city!
