I started mu journey of personal growth and entrepreneurship- pursuing my dream - in Jan 2017 so when HEA debuted in May, it spoke very deeply to me. We went every week all summer long. Despite the crowds and the heat, we would park, grab a spot, get some Starbucks and talk to other guests, watch the show and leave. Those we’re such amazing times. Still friends with some of the people we met, one couple has since gotten married at WDW.

I absolutely can’t wait for it to return. I might even buy a ticket for a day just to see it!
Let’s hope THEY don’t screw it up when HEA (partially) returns. They’re cutting cost everywhere, this should be a no-brainer, and just bring it back as it was.

I don't think they will screw up HEA. They are bringing it back because guests love it but they have already set a Main Street projection precedence with Enchantment. I am still in the camp that the only two songs that are played truly in isolation (Touch The Sky and How Far I'll Go) will be swapped with more relevant IP and the reset of the show will remain the same with enhancements.

I could be wrong, but I think this show is going to be around for a while and I think they are building it as such. Enchantment has proven that you cannot hastily replace a nighttime show. They actually got insanely lucky with HEA re: an initial investment standpoint.

Do we know the Budget for this??? Has the Budget been greenlit???
No idea but I don't think it needs to be that healthy of a budget. It's definitely green lit because they've been working on it for months now (and have even been doing some in park testing of new components).

Oh I know HEA is approved. I meant is the Money set in Stone? Or is it still fluid? Hopefully no cuts!

Out There, as a song of the hero's desire for something more is also easily replaceable. Especially with Encanto's Waiting on a Miracle, which happens to end in fireworks in the movie.

The one good thing about Enchantment that I hope they keep in some form is the added intro with various MK rides and clips of Walt and Roy. Make that into a pre-show of sorts.

They can’t change this unless they want to redo that whole section because the music is intertwined during the transitions.
That's what's meant by an 'updated' HEA. There will be changes.

When HEA debuted, it was using up a lot of the old stock of fireworks that weren't meant for this show. It took a couple of months before all the correct fireworks were in place. So, there's a history of them being able to adjust the ordnance.

Personally, I would not expect major or complicated sections to change. For a couple of reasons: first because it's more expensive and second because if you're Heinz, you don't mess with the formula for your ketchup. They are going to be careful here; especially after Enchantment's scores.

There's nothing wrong with the show as it is, but I do think they will at least want to get Encanto in there in the cheapest/easiest way possible (without having to bring on Tim Heintz + the full orchestra).

I've been told by countless people to not "overthink" this. And to "expect Happily Ever After that you largely knew before."

I hope the same will hold true for Epcot's new show, though I know that's a different beast all together.

I’m not talking but about switching a few fireworks I’m talking about replacing an entire section of the show
