As for Tests.... Is FITS Tested evrey year? Tonight at 6:30 was good but the Prims. were off. No number Pyro and missed the final shot at the end of the NYE Tag... Everything using the normal setup was Spot On!!!
Not sure. The same can be said about Celebrate America. Tonight is when they do the dress rehearsal.

I prefer HEA to Wishes but I wouldn't complain if WDW brought back Wishes for NYE every year instead of the truly forgettable FiTS.
I agree, I think the opening with second star to the right and Tinkerbelle is almost perfect but the rest of the show is very forgettable

If I had to pick between Wishes and Happily Ever After, I'd probably pick Wishes. It was the perfect show for Magic Kingdom. It gave off the most wonderful vibe as you walked around that place at night with a Mickey Bar, which was my favorite way to experience that show.

That being said, we're in a technology obsessed era and projection shows are what we are going to get moving forward. In that regard, I haven't seen a show better than or more complete than Happily Ever After.

As for now: Hopefully we still have the new Intro in 2023!

Going forward in 2023........The big Questions are When is DE's last night and will HEA 2023 have the same Magic as May 2017?????? God I miss May 2017!!!!!!!!!
Likely not same. The pyro equipment of the HEA 2023 will utilize the additional Enchantment pyro tech. So, instead of just one launcher, we'll got three pyro launchers (left, center, and right side). Post-MVMCP minnie's wonderful Christmas Time fireworks 2022 version were different than the original post-MVMCP 2019 thanks to the new Enchantment pyro launchers.

The changes from the 2019 Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks version to its 2021/2022 version are pretty bad. (Same could be said about the Halloween fireworks)

Since the latter version now utilizes the 2 new DE pyro tech/launchers, they "retired" the launchers near BTMR and Tron. So now the 180° perimeter view is reduced greatly.

And that's without the pyrp cuts/downgrades in the castle/FL pyro. Disappointing changes overall.

What should've happened is the 2 new launchers that came online with DE should've been "additional" ones, not replacements to the 2 old perimeters.

Yes
No Kidding!!!!!!! And not just because of Disney/HEA for me!! For me, all that ended March 15th 2020......

Don't get me wrong, I know HEA is good for MK but I wish HEA would turn back time to May 2017!! Impossible I know.......
I started mu journey of personal growth and entrepreneurship- pursuing my dream - in Jan 2017 so when HEA debuted in May, it spoke very deeply to me. We went every week all summer long. Despite the crowds and the heat, we would park, grab a spot, get some Starbucks and talk to other guests, watch the show and leave. Those we’re such amazing times. Still friends with some of the people we met, one couple has since gotten married at WDW.

I absolutely can’t wait for it to return. I might even buy a ticket for a day just to see it!
