Well to be fair, its not like that addition of dining plan could do more damage to the quality of the food.. Restaurant availability? That's another story
The one and only time we have ever used the DDP is when we got it for free on a September trip. Other than that it has never saved us money so we skip it and pay out of pocket. They can keep it gone for all I care.

…well that’s the real “danger”…bs aside
Certainly there is quite a bit of risk that lower guest satisfaction will lead to real long-term hurt in the business. That being said, right now, the parks are just a money printing machine and Disney really has no reason to pull pack on their pricing and cutbacks. Do worry that the post-Covid boom in travel is slowing which could catch up on the company quick.

What recession? What inflation? The parks are fine, just look at how many people are going through the gates and spending gobs and gobs of money on overpriced crap and low-quality, over-priced food and beverages. Unprecedented demand!!!

Of course…but they laid a cover story on that during Covid. True at that time..but quietly abandoned. What happened is they have capitalized on “revenge Travel” at much higher prices…groomed the customers. Myself included.

It’s brilliant business/strategy…they excel at it. But not “good” for any customers. Nobody is better off now. It is what it is

Jimmy Buffett and 150 guests will tour Antarctica on a ship while Jimmy and his band give intimate concerts, discussions during the week. Each person is paying $25K and some even more and it’s sold out. There is no recession for these Parrotheads.

Lol you can't take it with ya.

I generally try not to criticize what people choose to spend their dough on, mainly because as I said before, I've done some jackrabbit things. In recent memory plunk down thousands of bucks for tickets to a 3 hour show, go figure.
