Disney confirms 'Frozen' makeover coming to Epcot's Norway Pavilion

Looking at a video of the ride, one problem area would be where the boat changes direction, it appears to just fit. It also would depend on how right the curves are.
There was some space wasted on the front and back of the viking ships. In theory, couldn't they keep the same length and add another row?

So a few questions
1. does this mean pixar land and star wars land are on hold?
2. does this mean all countries in EPCOT are going to get movie makeovers or this just strictly going to be a ride and not a complete country makeover?

1. There really isn't a connection between this project and what is going on in DHS, the the status of SW and Pixar land it totally independent question.

2. This really wasn't a case of "we want to makeover Norway, what should be put there", instead is was "Where can we quickly integrate more Frozen content", so I don't think you can automatically conclude that they will be looking to do something similar in other pavillions. Of course that cannot be ruled out either. The balance between Norway and Frozen in the pavillion is still yet to be seen.

Agreed, but I have no doubts that Norzen will draw ridiculous crowds (in the short term at least) regardless of the attraction's quality which at the very least won't hinder an effort of putting more movie based attractions in WS. If there even was any caution over putting it in Norway this time around, next time the powers that be will just say 'look at Frozen in Norway' as a success story and not blink an eye toward similar plans.

I like the way WDW is always expanding and improving the parks. I'm looking forward to the new Frozen ride and I like the way they upgraded the Lumberjack show in Canada. In the future we'll have the expanded theater at Soarin' as well.
