Okay. But, what do you mean by we're past that time already? He’s a snake…an old style corporate raider
But he is NOT wrong about Disney not performing well and needing different management. We’re past that time already.

He doesn't like Iger or his management team, he's wanted them out for years.Okay. But, what do you mean by we're past that time already?
Is Peltz going to win for that?He doesn't like Iger or his management team, he's wanted them out for years.
And lo and behold…what they’ve done is now failing unilaterally…and they’ve proven me rightHe doesn't like Iger or his management team, he's wanted them out for years.
The way it’s looking is some of the board will be replaced and Iger will be told to leave at a certain time…shorter than he wantsIs Peltz going to win for that?
Okay. Thanks for your honest answer. And lo and behold…what they’ve done is now failing unilaterally…and they’ve proven me right

But nothing decided yet.
Honestly Peltz wants to break the company up and sell it for parts. He isn't the savior that some fans thinks he is. Too many blinded by their hatred for Iger and just want Iger out at all costs. They aren't realizing that by allowing Peltz to be added to the board that is letting a wolf into the hen house, not good.Is Peltz going to win for that?
Oh. Not good indeed! In that case, never mind.Honestly Peltz wants to break the company up and sell it for parts. He isn't the savior that some fans thinks he is. Not sure…Nintendo is only traded in Japan…so it’s a bit apples to orangesBut are any one of those elected board members part of the ValueAct? Because I’ve heard the ValueAct did good with Nintendo.
Well that’s a good possibility…don’t know if it’s “definite”?Honestly Peltz wants to break the company up and sell it for parts. He isn't the savior that some fans thinks he is. And I’m worried for Disney. And I don’t want them to go bankrupt!Well that’s a good possibility…don’t know if it’s “definite”?
I’d say he wants to dump what isn’t profitable…so that could be a stripped down version.
We can’t honeslty say that wouldn’t turn out ok. Disney does a lot of things they don’t make money off of these days. Definite dead weight.
But it’s a fine line.
But we shouldn’t whistle past the graveyard here and act like Bob’s doing ok. He’s not. They’ve lost the ability to make more money. A bit of a problem.
That’s speculation, it’s certainly possible he could sell off parts (ABC, Fox, etc) but Igers already floated that idea so that’s nothing new.Honestly Peltz wants to break the company up and sell it for parts. They’ll never go bankrupt. That’s not realistic. It’s likely they will be bought by another company in the futureAnd I’m worried for Disney. And I don’t want them to go bankrupt!
Disneys not going bankrupt, worst case scenario they are bought by someone and survive as separate parts, most likely scenario they simply turn it around (like they did in the 90s) and have another renaissance era.And I’m worried for Disney. And I don’t want them to go bankrupt!
Okay, but the only problem is, Disney doesn’t trust Peltz. And Disney is forcing the shareholders not to vote for him. They’ll never go bankrupt. That’s not realistic. It’s likely they will be bought by another company in the future
It’s a different world…the 90’s were fueled by physical consumer products and a captive, pre-ondemand audience…, most likely scenario they simply turn it around (like they did in the 90s) and have another renaissance era.
“Disney” is not Bob Iger…he isn’t that important. If they replace the management and do damn near OBVIOUS things with their assets…this problem gives way to more longterm opportunity.Okay, but the only problem is, Disney doesn’t trust Peltz. And Disney is forcing the shareholders not to vote for him.
Iger was musing about the ABC broadcast stations, not the studios that make content.it’s certainly possible he could sell off parts (ABC, Fox, etc) but Igers already floated that idea so that’s nothing new.
