My initial reply to you was deleted, so let me try again:
Really? That seems silly. You are one of the most mature and polite posters here. I can't imagine you going off the rails. The way things disappear sometimes here continues to baffle me, but here I am, still posting.
Yes, that's it. I'm not sure what else Disney could have done anyway. As has been pointed out to you multiple times, Zegler is not a regular employee, but an actor under contract who had already completed the job. There were no practicable measures the company could have taken against her at that point.
I get your point there. Again, the Jungle Cruise Skipper analogy on display. I think the practicable measure the company will take will be seen from March 22nd onward, when they don't hire her again for another film for any Disney studio.
I don't put much stock in what celebrities say. I'm much more concerned about the words and deeds of those who have an actual impact on our lives.
I don't either, but some of them sure make waves trying to insult at least half their audience. You wonder what they're thinking. Imagine a plumber in town saying he dislikes Biden voters and won't unclog their drains. Not smart business.
And if @Casper Gutman is to be believed, "the most powerful people in the nation" are the people commenting on celebrities. Or something. I can't quite follow that train of thought he has on that. I assume he's talking about YouTubers.
