I don't dislike Gal Gadot as a person, but based on all of the clips Disney has released of Snow White so far, her performance as the Evil Queen is really bad. Like, razzie-level bad. I didn't have a whole lot of faith in the movie to begin with, but I fear this may be worse than I thought.

Someone like Lady Gaga — who can act, sing and have a convincingly intimidating/dark onscreen presence —might have been a better pick for the role.
That is a fair criticism, one that has been levied at her for many of her performances. Maybe she comes across better in the film, dunno, but I personally wouldn't call it "razzie-level" bad, wooden maybe but not razzie award level bad.

I think she was decent in the first Wonder Woman because the script/directing played to her strengths. Gadot can work in the right type of role, but she has limited range and this is out of her depth.

I don't disagree, I just need to see the full movie to fully assess her performance here.

No, her run on Broadway just finished last month, ie just a few weeks ago in 2025. And now she is on the press tour for Snow White. No time in there for filming a new movie.

As for what's next, as indicated there is a few rumors, but I'm sure nothing will be announced until after Snow White is released. But once announced I'm sure it'll be posted all over this thread.
She’s had no time to film anything but she’s had plenty of time to review offers and line up her next several gigs.

As I mentioned her co-star Gal Gadot has 8 movies lined up right now, none have started filming as far as I could tell, nothing prevents an actor from lining up their next gig while working their current gig.

It’s certainly possible that Zegler is exhausted from the last few years of nonstop work and has just decided she needs a break and doesn’t want to work for a while, she’s made more in the last few years than most of us will make in our lifetime so she can certainly financially afford a break, it’s also possible no one wants to deal with the negativity and toxicity surrounding her right now, one seems more likely to me, others will find the other more likely, but that’s purely guesses by all of us.

What’s the latest on the Gloria Estefan film? That rumor was from last November. And every actor has been rumored for the MCU at some point - are we to believe that Disney, which can’t trust her to speak with the media outside of a tightly controlled environment, is going to bring her into the MCU?

Studios frequently capitalize on the media attention for a new film by Actor X to announce that Actor X is slated for being in Film Y. It’s a quick, cheap, and easy way to draft off of the media attention of other projects.

What are the 8? As I’m only aware of 1 official one which is in post-production, any others are still in development or hasn’t started filming. Several of those 8 I’m sure are ones that have been cancelled or severely delayed.

It should also be noted that Gadot is also further along in her career than Zegler. So many of those projects were from before Zegler was even in the spotlight.

That’s a lot of baseless speculation. Why?

Its still in development with Sony.

Do you know for a fact she isn't in talks with Disney on future projects like the MCU and other projects like their adaption of Phantom of the Opera? As both have pretty good scoopers with good track records behind the rumors.

Just because you can't believe it doesn't mean its not happening.

Which Studios? As competing Studios aren't usually using another Studios premiere to announce a new project with the same actor. As for Disney if its not far enough along they aren't going to announce it yet.

Some early “unofficial” reviews from people who’ve reportedly seen the film are starting to pop up, the seven bandits are reportedly the Prince’s sidekicks, similar to how the seven dwarfs are Snows sidekicks. Early “unofficial” reviews are also generally positive overall, will be interesting to see the official reviews once the embargo is lifted.
Well that is good to hear. Also good to hear that the "seven bandits" are still in the film, indicating that maybe just maybe they weren't really dwarf replacements after all.

Technically movies and shows, and I forgot the list included SW so 7.

Because we're on a forum where you discuss things, including speculation. If we limited the forums to certified facts it would be insanely boring and none of us would likely be here.

There are a lot less of us than there used to be. Maybe the baseless speculation is not as entertaining as you think it is.
Or maybe the endless attempts to muzzle people with differing opinions is so tedious people decide it's not a fun place to be so they go elsewhere.

But here we go "speculating" again... which is apparently a bad thing, so we better stop and get back to facts!

Ok, so as I suspected, there is only one confirmed actual release which is Hand of Dante. It was already filmed and just awaiting a release date. All the rest are in various stages of development. I’ve even long suspected that Cleopatra will be canceled or she’ll be released from it due to her own controversy with the role.

Anyways as I mentioned she is further along in her career so has had much more time to develop projects and get a pipeline going.

According to Variety yesterday, the Snow White premiere is pretty much closed to the press. None of the usual Hollywood trades or TV shows or websites are being allowed in to the premiere arrival process, AKA Red Carpet. Instead, the Red Carpet will be limited to select still photographers only, and a "house crew" from Disney capturing video/audio work of the event.

So they're locking this down tight, doing all the videography in house to be released as edited B Roll, and not letting any press in who might inadvertently capture words spoken by Rachel Zegler. Fascinating!

If I were to guess, this is both a reaction to the philosophical loose cannon that is Miss Zegler and the damage she's already done to this movie since 2023 AND the likelihood that this $240+ Million alleged tentpole movie isn't expected to do very well at the box office. 🧐

Oh big time.

This film is going to flop spectacularly, for sure.

Folks will save their money for the ‘LILO & Stitch’ remake.
Now THAT film…that film is going to be a blockbuster and make stupid money.
Stupid crazy amounts of money.
Bob Iger Can Buy Texas and The Alamo Money…!

Snow White - flop
Lilo & Stitch - mega hit

The power of Stitch compels you.

Catching up on the last few pages was not at all entertaining. 🫤

We are more muzzled by the moderators than anything else. I can’t say 2/3 of very valid points I have to make, and even mentioning facts like FAA workers being fired was edited out by a moderator in a relevant thread about reduced flight bookings.

That’s a lot worse than what you’re describing.

Right. Because people can’t go to both. 🙄

Don’t bother with “but some people…” I don’t want to hear it, it’s nonsense. Millions in box office receipts every single day.

These boards have become increasingly negative. The posters who previously noted that fact post less often now or have just left.

I guess there must be some fun in predicting the failure of actors who appear in Disney films or say things you don’t want to hear.

I’m not out to silence anyone, but what’s the sense in just making things up and then arguing about it?

So just about everything the company does now is of poor quality and you surprised the boards are increasingly negative ?
