I wonder if the possible PENDING package will include a park hopper or dinner plan?

MYW Vacation packages include tickets. Besides that, would you really want to spend $1000 on 4 nights in a value resort?

I hope the PENDING offer is a little better then what they are showing. Doesn't live up to the hype. Now offer a Deluxe package w/ dining and you have my attention

I dont think this is any great shakes. Better than full price, yes. Better than some of the previous deals run including free dining, no. Glad I booked December at the AP Best Rate Program!!! Belle

Maybe Disney is letting "the cat out of the bag" early to see how we react. Since people feel it's not that great, maybe they will up the offer. Disny has time.

This is like buying a new car.

No. We aren't even supposed to know about it til the 29th, according to the page. Therefore, they aren't "testing the waters" or any of that.

The top of that same site has the PENDING deal w/ a Discount code: YQC
Whats up w/ that? :veryconfu Isn't that shady, since the deal isn't officialy release yet? :lookaroun

Hmmmmmm. Is that disneys discount code, or that particular sites code?? Either way, seems like alot of info on a deal that isn't available yet... We usually dont go for package deals... We bought 10-day park hopper passes with no expiration, so I always only look for room only discounts..

We usually don't book a package deal either. Sometimes we find that it is a little cheaper to purchase the tickets and the rooms separately.

I am excited to find out what this discount is, if it even exists. Sometimes I think this is all just a "tease" to get guests excited. We already have a room only ressie at SSR from 11/29 through 12/4, but we have already paid for it. If this discount does come through, can we change our ressie since we have paid for it?

And it says "travel must be completed by 12/25." That sure doesn't help my family out. The old AP rates, and the new Best Rate Program allow booking on and including 12/25 for the entire week.

Again, worst case scenario is a stay at Dolphin for teacher's rate, which is fine by me!

Depends on how you booked it.. Check your res for cancellation info.. If discounted rates are low enough, it may be worth it to pay cancellation fee(if there is one) and rebook at lower price...

idk about what mousesavers has posted.....see if my math makes sense.
We currently have a 7 day 6 night vacation planned for the all star movies, including passes with the hopper option. We also requested an upgraded room so we wouldn't have the parking lot view. Our total was about 1300.
According to mousesavers, Disney may offer 2 less days/nights, no hopper option, no upgraded room and its only 300 less?
I understand its subject to change and all. But I just thought I'd run my calcs by you.

Any thoughts?

Remember the package has one child and one junior, from the looks on the pics it looks like you have two kids which may have skewed the numbers a bit ( Adorable kids BTW!!! Kisses and hugs from Auntie Belle) I ran the numbers myself today and it was slightly under a $300 savings over rack rate for the same number of people ( 4, 2 adults 1 junior, one child between 3-9) Same hotel type ( Value Level) and time of year ( Value Season) Those were the numbers I got. As I said, is it great? no. IS it better than full rack rate? yes. Belle

ha!! Thanks for the compliements and the hugs and kisses. Yes we do have two little Girls. I want so much to take the to Disney this year for Christmas. I really hope this deal works out. I've heard tomorrow is definately D-Day...so hold on to your hats. Santa hats, that is. :xmas:
I'd agree its better than the full rack rate, but it would seem we're already getting some sort of discount In fact we've changed our reservations once already to take advantage of a price change.
Idk, guess we'll find out tomorrow.....keep your fingers crossed.
