That was Horizons, not GMR.Imo its the next ride to see the same end result like GMR did. Let the attraction rot provide basically no maintenance to save money. People still gonna ride & that entire area is next on chopping block for a complete redo.
Tell me you let guest relations know your displeasure?Rode today. The doors at the beginning aren't working. All three of the carnotaurus are stuck immobile, with the first one so bright you could see it was just only a partial figure. None of the effects in the finale/time travel back are working except a bit of smoke. My friends, who haven't ridden in years, were like "why is everything broken?" Honestly the ride should not operate when all three carnotaurus don't work. It's a big letdown.
Yes, that is my speculation as well. They've basically cleared out a lot of that land. When we rode Dinosaur (stupid name..Countdown to Extinction was much better) in June, the whole pre-show was axed. Many of the effects were not working. It was a weird experience. They likely have new plans for this area, which may be OK, except it could be years before anything happens.Imo its the next ride to see the same end result like GMR did. It's AK's version to Pixar Pier..No other parks has carnival games in their parks..Not even an arcade in MK..I do hope they bring some kind of arcade back to the TL Power and Light building fitting with the TRON vibe..I know people say it a lot, and I know Rama was specifically designed to be temporary, but I don't believe Dinoland is leaving.
My reasoning is mainly the games. They have to be a huge money maker. They're essentially selling plush toys the same size as the ones in the stores for 60 dollars at some of them. Or plush toys just slightly bigger than a Wishable for 30.
Plus they're evil geniuses and made them the only source of cute dinosaurs, so people are forced to gamble for them.
That is really weird; it sounds like you must have been there during technical difficulties or something. The preshow is most definitely still there.
Thanks! Yes those notices are usually push notifications and aren't available via any menu etc.@wdwmagic I can’t remember / didn’t read if it would be closed all day, but it has been closed since opening.
I didn’t think to screenshot the alert, but it popped up on opening the app this morning and doesn’t seem to be accessible anywhere else on the app.
