Dining Reservations

Will it be 8 minutes or 8 hours? I logged on right at 3 am PDT (live on East Coast so 6 am is no big deal) before the waiting room opened to grab Napa Rose for 8/13. Glad I beat the queue opening because I don’t need one of the newly-opening places. You can’t book any reservations anywhere now. Maybe I’ll try to grab Oga’s tomorrow for 8/14.
...might be gripping the bat just a little too tight there, fella

Better to get the reservation we want in 2 minutes at 6 am than wait in a queue for who-knows-how-long. I’ve dealt with enough of that from the day I bought DL tix, the day I booked the Wish, and the day I booked Boo Bash.

I have a sickness.

I'm in an interesting situation: I was able to make a reservation for Oga's a few days back but they didn't have any times available for just one person (me) so I had to say I was in a party of two in order to get times to show up. After I secured the reservation I was unable to edit it down to only being for one person like some suggested. What happens when I show up and show them a 2-person reservation but it's only me there? Will I have to pay a cancelation fee for this non-existent second person?

In theory, could I grab a random person waiting to get in and take them in with me? LMAO

Nothing, rarely are there parties of 1 available. Also how many people would be furious if they had to pay a cancellation if their party of 4 became 3 due to one person being sick, etc.

That's good to hear! I wanted to make sure because I thought I saw a message on the app saying that all members of the party have to show up or it would be a $10 cancellation fee per member that isn't there with you. I'm going to take your word for it and go off of that haha.

I wonder why they don't offer one person reservations? Is it that uncommon for people to go to Disneyland solo? I enjoy going to the parks at my own pace, and doing exactly what I want to do without worrying about anyone else.
