Diagon full opening day

We're going the first week of February 2015 in hopes of avoiding big crowds. Maybe by then the madness will have subsided.

While I know its nice for bragging rights. I dont understand why people would want to risk this. I went to Hogsmeade/FJ last year for the first time since it opened, and I was fine, took me ten minutes to get into FJ.

I will wait maybe a year or two, and probably walk into Gringots in about ten minutes as well

Well I am also here. Thankfully I was able to visit Diagon Alley for two days during softs. Walking into Universal Studios, it seems like a typical summer day. The line for DA didn't look too bad, until I noticed the line disappeared by MIB. I didn't realize they had funneled everyone backstage (I thought maybe they were issuing a return time). I arrived around 8:45am, and while most attractions were empty, the lines have since grown. People aren't skipping the rest of the park.

Resort guests were given a letter recommending Hogsmeade for early entry. Tomorrow all resort guests have access to DA for early entry starting g at 7am.

The people there today (well most of them) are not really there just to ride the attraction. Sure, they will most definitely get on the attraction, but today is about being among other like minded people and enjoying the experience of all of the craziness.

That's true about the recommendation for resort guest. I arrived at USF at 5am and had no problem being the first group to get in and got see Gringotts. (Which is in my opinion the best attraction ever developed). As I left around 9am. USF was filling up fast, and so I took the train to ioa which was a 10 minute wait. I went to hogmeades to ride forbidden journey and it was at a 90 minute wait. So I left. The guests entering citywalk was insane and it was very evenly split for both park. The difference between this opening and 2010 is that both parks are very busy while back then, USF was very slow on hogmeades opening day.

Does anyone know how many new TM positions this expansion created? There are so many TMs around (in costume) that it feels like half of Universal's employee roster is now in DA.
