Diagon full opening day

Touring Plans is off... the backstage switchbacks are 3 hour waits themselves. Not including the areas out in public view.

When did they post that? I'm sure it was around 8, when they went inside. But not surprisingly, guests who weren't tuned-in enough to know about soft openings weren't tuned in enough to know to be there at 6 a.m. I'm sure the crowd will continue to grow all morning.

But I'm with Princess Nelly, if you've ever been to HHN, that is not a 2 - 3 hour line.

Posted ~30 mins ago.

Don't know what they based that time off, exactly what entry time that represents, etc.

Maybe 2 hours from the time they got in line but people at the end are being told 5-6 hours just to get in!
This surely would not be the first time that someone exaggerated a wait time.

How many times have you been told it will be an hour for a table only to be seated in 20 minutes?

It's all estimates, even what is coming from Uni TMs. We won't know how long the actual wait is until hours after someone entered the line reports back.

But it really wouldn't surprise me if they are overestimating the wait, for various reasons.

See my post above, guest who entered the line around 9 have been waiting 2/3 hours and are finally in. But anyone entering now is definitely going to wait longer

Can somone explain the me the sort of fast pass system they are using to enter Diagon alley?! Some people a few weeks back said that it would be implemented to help with crowd control!

No fastpass system.
It is stand by only.
Tomorrow they are going to put a return ticket time system in place, similar to what they did with Hogsmeade.
Basically just like Disney's old fastpass system. A ticket with a printed time for you to return.

Do we know of you need one for hogsmeade as well?! Or just diagon alley! It might make it difficult to get one and the other right away if that's the case!

Well, one thing is evident. The Potter franchise dead, and Universal were idiots to tie themselves to this boat anchor.
