Well, there's been some rumors, nothing confirmed.
Bug's Land for HITSK (easy retheme and gives little kids more rides to do)
Cars mini-land (maybe just Flo's, Junkyard Jamboree and a retheme of the LMA show)
Monsters Inc. mini-land (Ride and Go Seek, Harryhausen's, Laugh Floor relocation)
Incredibles E-ticket (a Marvel version could then go into Disneyland or DCA)

With a SWL including a spinner, an upgraded Jedi Training Academy, probably a Milennium Falcon m&g/walkthrough and a new E-ticket. Some updates to Star Tours and a Mos Eisley Cantina too.

I'd also guess a trackless dark ride for GMR's space if it's getting replaced, Tangled goes where B&TB is, Mermaid gets swapped for something else, Disney Junior gets some updates, and the Muppets might get a mini-land.

Since it's bigger than DCA's budget right now ($1.1 billion)
what im curious about is how are they going to incorporate all these Pixar characters and films in one area...I mean is Flo s gonna be next to Monsters Inc ride?

I could see it working in DAK, but the theme would be a little odd. What's interesting is that the thematic break argument typically doesn't get made on an attraction that isn't tied to an intellectual property.
where would Mystic Manor fit in DAK? just curious what you think

Personally, I think it would be a reasonably in theme if Mystic Manor is put in Asia, perhaps given more Indian influences on the architecture and have a backstory of Lord Mystic settling in Anandapur (maybe being a magistrate in the area or somesuch). The monkey plays a key part of the plot of the ride, pretty much to the same extent as the Yeti in E:E (entirely different execution, of course, but my point being that E:E -- or KRR -- isn't exactly packed with animals).

I'm sure they'd figure out some sort of transition.

Right now, TSMM 3rd track and an overall Pixar Place expansion is all that's confirmed.

That is a big stretch ...

But the question whether anything else might be there. A third track alone shouldn't take up the whole building. I know some have speculated a gift shop, but it might be used for something like a M&G or a queue for a a ride behind SS1.

The question is, would there be space in SS1 for anything else? Here is a picture of the buildings, red is the current TSMM and that building below it is Sound Stage 1. SS1 is actually a little smaller then TSMM.

Here is the track layout. If they were to just carbon copy one of the tracks it would take up pretty much the same space as the current ride so there wouldn't be any space left for anything else. Also, if the old and new tracks don't connect they would need a second maintenance bay.

MM would fit, but it would take it's own little land. I don't even know where it would logically and physically fit in Asia. Like if a JTTCOE ride ever showed up it would need to be around there, in a fantasy-based area. Like a bunch of islands... Mystic Island sounds good :)

I didn't hear about a re-themed LMA... I thought it was being said LMA is not long for this world and a version of RSR is going there... And I definitely didn't think an Incredibles ride was rumored... or Ride and Go Seek... maybe that door coaster... or a trackless GMR replacement... or Bugs Land... or Laugh Floor relocation.or Muppets mini land... Are these actual rumors?

With avatar coming to AK I don't see them bringing anything else in. So if MM was to come to Florida it would have to be HS and once again with all the other big news I don't see it happening either.

Howso? The park is about nature and animals, but I don't think that everything in the park has to focus exclusively on those things. The main thing IMHO is that the attractions fit into their environment and Mystic Manor could surely be designed and themed in a way that it fits into the Indian/Nepalese subcontinent placemaking of Asia.

Also, regarding where it could fit, there is space between E:E and the rest of Asia where a new attraction could be build. All they would need to do is have the facade and queue there with the showbuilding behind it (there's undeveloped land behind Kali that could house the showbuilding).

No the park is about conservation and animals if you start including stuff that has a loose connection and the theme isn't tight you get crap like Tomorrowland 2014, or Woody being in Frontierland.

The story is of a collector of artifacts whose Monkey accidentally makes all the artifacts come to life. Nothing about conservation nothing about animals outside of a pet. i.e. Pretty big stretch. It doesn't need adding to DAK. There is one place on property where it fits and is appropriate that place, MK.

they are spending 1.1 billion in DHS? :O

I think that was DCA's budget actually. The rumors are that DHS' budget is supposed to be higher than DCA's at this early point. Hopefully it isn't mutilated like Fantasyland Expansion's was, and that they've got powerful creative leaders on board like Lasseter to keep the bean counters from getting their grubby mitts on this (again like what almost happened to Cars Land had Lasseter not been around to keep them in line). Lee said they're in a spending mood, but it's still rather early.

Avatar is a good start... It shouldn't be viewed as, "Oh, everything is fixed now." No, it needs more and it needs more dark rides. It's been neglected for years and has some catching up to do.

DAK isn't just for conservation, from its inception it was supposed to include animals based on fantasy and mythology... we're still waiting for that Dragon's presence that's literally ingrained in the park's theme and decor... Mystic Manor would be an excellent fit, I agree with @doctornick there. Where I disagree is placing it in Asia, it needs its own little island, like a Mysterious Island would have had (maybe still, at some point, in the future, please?), but it wouldn't be a big stretch to have a ride centered on mischievous monkey opening a magical box in a park with a Yeti... a Yeti who likes disco, no less.

That doesn't necessarily agree with one of marni's posts from the other day.

100% confirmed.

DHS - if plans pan out, and they are at a very late stage right now - could be getting an overhaul bigger than DCA got. I won't go further for now, suffice to say the plans are huge. Yes, they involve another name change, and yes they involve the hat too.

In the end though, this is all just a guessing game at this point.

Yes there is still a difference between adding attractions based on mythological creatures that were written as fables not to X in the environment. Hence why in middle ages the amount of different bog based creatures designed to keep children from playing near a bog. Than simply stating Mystic Manor fits because it has a monkey in it.
