Is it important enough to keep or has it just not been demo'd yet?

As @Next Big Thing said, fireworks prep. I assume this function has been moved over to the new site. As to why it has not been removed, it's possible that Star Wars Land will not go beyond the perimeter road into this area so there is no reason to take it down.

What are they going to do about the sight lines of traffic entering the park to shield the view from the construction?

seems like they'd want to install some big scrimms or something so the first thing you see on arrival to your day at the theme park isnt the construction mess.

like put photos of current operating attractions/characters on the scrims rather than swl/ tsl that says hey the park is crap now but will be cool again in 5 years when you arent here.

I wonder if they'll keep part of the Backlot Tour and Streets of America up for now, to hide the construction? It's pretty horrendous show to have that much construction visible. The entire back of the park is demolished.

As I recall, it was used by Hulk Hogan in Thunder in Paradise. Maybe he still uses it....

Exactly. I feel like if the facades I mentioned were demolished, you would be able to see much more. Which personally, I am okay with because then we'll get more updates, but seems like bad show.

The most recent speculation is that is for a possible expansion of the parking lot either for cast members or for regular parking while they build the parking garages. I guess we will see.

Permits say it is for parking. The new entrance will come in at the far end of that cleared area.

I knew his point its just not true. SWL at DHS is not catching up to DL. DL is much farther ahead still.

Yeah, we still haven't cleared everything we need to at DHS and meanwhile DL has been vertical for what, over a month or two?
