Anyone know why in the last picture there there seems to be land cleared past the berm of the park (like across the road)? Are they moving the road to expand park expansion space like once rumored?

It's probably for a new route for the main tool booth. Or, it could be just for construction activities. will have to wait an see I suppose.

Oops. I assumed poster was talking about the area at the bottom of this pic. Not the area across World Dr. - were m ain launch is at.

You'd like to think it would make more sense to build parking garages now, then they can save the land for other things, not that Disney lack land of course but you never know!

Yea that permit was very much lacking in fine detail. (It did include a lot of general details however which was a nice change from what we normally get however) Hopefully we will get some better drawings in a few months when they get ready to start with the parking infrastructure improvements.

Right now no parking decks in the works for the parking lot expansion. Just a lot expansion, new entry and larger bus loop.

Construction access road is coming along good, you can see the foundation on the right for one side of the bridge and the bridge structure waiting to be installed on the left.

They will stay at least until the new entry point is built which will be 12-18 months roughly.

Here is where the new entry road will be. There will have to be new booths and they might go in the area labels DHS-5.
