Dead Monsters?

Reading this, I took notice that Martin, Lee, or Steve himself have not commented on whether 74 is correct or not. To me, that is telling. I do firmly believe 74 is telling the truth on this. Well, DHS will remain a half day park for me. Nothing of significance worth doing anymore, other than ToT and RnRC. Farewell DHS/MGM. It was nice knowing you.

Can't speak for Martin or Steve, but I've been quiet about it because I honestly haven't heard anything about MI in a couple months.
I know that the last I heard (back in May) it was a sure thing, preliminary work had already been done, and would likely be announced as soon as this Oct.
Haven't heard anything since, but I'm definately trying to find out. Ya'll will know when I do.

I actually believe WDW74's source(s) are fan forums and the person at that other place they always reference and who was quoted as saying nothing new was coming to the MK of consequence in the next 5 years.
Nah. I seriously think you are off base there.

I still believe MI was "plan b" in case ST2 fell through. And it will happen someday. Remember the arch.
No. Not correct. ST2 has been a sure thing for years and MI was/is(?) approved and heading towards the start of construction. No connection between the two at all.

Even 74 and the source have now admitted they were wrong. Gives 74 some credibility in my mind.

I wish I could agree. Unless Disney a has rock solid contract with Lucas there is no way they could be 100% sure it would happen. I'll stick with my instinct for now on this. Not saying I might not be wrong but we will see. It might also be the MI budget was temporarily targeted elsewhere. But I believe MI will be built before 2013 or so.........ahem.

Steve himself confirmed that prep work was going on inside the soundstage, as did Martin and Lee. You really think they were doing site work on plan b?

Jt, c'mon, with you it's "all spin all the time." But you are actually quite good at it, so take it as a compliment.

Yes! Because as I said many times, Plan B is going to happen eventually no matter what. It was started early just in case. Just my opinion. And I'm sticking to it.

Not at all. Both were green lit, both should have opened one after the other.

The last I did hear was the supplier hadn`t been confirmed, and MI was crawling again at a pace akin to SSEs finale. I`ve a friend who did see the ride vehicle on the portal. From what was described it was very nice. The red light however is news to me.

Even when all the resident insiders tell you you're wrong. That's classic, JT. Sad, but classic.

I figure MI will happen eventually just maybe not right now when money is needed elsewhere. As '74 mentioned there are a lot of things they can update / modify in DHS for a relative low cost.

They said they don't know. No WDWMagic insiders have confirmed MI is not happening at all or isn't still moving forward. And sorry, wdw74 does not count as an insider in my book.

I'm not talking about whether or not MI is red/green/yellow-lighted.

Both Marni and Lee told you that MI wasn't "Plan B" for the Star Tours redo. Can you come to grips with the fact that your opinion/speculation/daydreaming isn't fact?

Geez.

They said your opinion is wrong.

Simple as that.

So are you saying it was "plan c"? Was "plan b" moving the Aladin spinner to the animation courtyard or was it something else?

Why don't you ask the insiders who have already shot down your speculation?

I'm guessing they'll say (or think) you have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm just pointing out your poor track record when it comes to explaining what Disney does or doesn't do.

It's conjecture. It's part of discussing rumors.

I wonder when they will announce the new DTD plans we were told don't exist?

*sigh*
There was no "plan B"....or "plan C" for that matter.
ST2 was a given. MInc was/is always to be "in addition" to ST2.
It wasn't like there was ever a fall-back position in case one didn't work out.
