Wow...just...wow...

So '74 is right or not. We'll find out sooner or later.

These threads are like a horrible killer clown circus. I don't want to look at them, but the craziness is a magnet...

Grains of salt people. It's a theme park we are talking about, not an investigational medication. If '74 is right, so what? If he is wrong, so what?

Well I have to say I appreciate how he has handled himself in this thread. I think he is picking up the rhythm and tone of this forum. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Good stuff. And this thread is hilarious. Love it.

Wow, good on you for being able to interpret what word he as trying to use. I wrote it off as gibberish:hammer:

I gotta know what else you said before 'The Mom' came in and ended the fun. Please PM me with the full post!!!

Not much missing, Mom must have taken exception to my use of "industrial language" which I must say that although blocked by the filter, left the 1st and last letter and was quite obviously me expressing my frustration at the examining and reexamining of the validity and minutiae of information on a message board.

So no sparkling witt or repartee, just gold old anglo saxon words.

As for the coaster, Id rather have a proper one than a half arsed version, thats why Im visiting the other main Florida parks this trip.

Still sticking it to the mouse as I take my humble earnings to its competitors. :animwink:

Yeah, only my studies of the French Revolution and his phoenitic spelling got me through that.

Still, I get the distinct impression that is not what he meant when using that word.

"I do not think that means what you think it means..."

Absolutely no apologies needed.

Thanks, though.

Just wanted to set the record straight since these threads take off in all kinds of weird directions.

Understandable. The tangents that fly through these threads are deadly! :) Just wanted to clear the air. Thanks for your reports as usual '74.

A: No.

A (Epilogue): Why? because it has two power thrill rides, Several Kids shows, Dozens of shows the whole family can enjoy, a hit dark ride with uber-rerideability and an already proven crowd pleaser, A must-see Fireworks/Nighttime Entertainment show, three of the most reserved restaurants on property, several more D and C Tickets, constantly talked about atmospheric entertainment, and if planned correctly, can be done in an entire day?

Yeah. No. If people who are coming to DAK/EPCOT/KINGDOM, they're also going to AT MINIMUM park hop over for a few rides if they don't want to see everything.

Studios is ONLY lacking to people who don't go the park, but talk bad about it to look like they have serious opinions on things and enjoy acting like they have a wealth of Disney Knowledge and (furthermore) deserve it. Anyone who goes down to Studios these days can see the park's doing just fine. In upkeep, attendance, and guest satisfaction. It's a myth, a Disney Urban Legend, that Circa 2009, Studios is a "lacking park". Heck, it survived and came out stronger from a horrible name change. Anything contrary is all just a shot in a dark room from a million miles away.

From what I've been told, everyone at WDI pretty much is frustrated with the way Bruce is running the place for Jay ... my friend Lee MacDonald of LP.com termed Bruce 'Jay's hatchet man' and that is what was confirmed to me.
This is why I don't understand Eddie Soto's support of the man that he has shown on these boards. I have worked with Bruce and was less than impressed. Certainly Eddie, of all people, would be vehemently against Bruce's methods and kowtowing to Rasulo. I've seen Eddie go ballistic when he didn't get his way with management. In fact he developed quite the reputation at WDI. We all knew to leave the room when a decision against Eddie's team was made. I mean this in a good way. He was one of the few that had the guts to stand up against mediocrity and poor (in our opinion) management decisions. So for Eddie to defend Bruce seems contrary to his nature.

There's a lot of talent at WDI right now on edge and not knowing what tomorrow' going to bring. And that's with more on the development docket than in quite a few years.
Yep especially after very recent layoffs...again.

FWIW, and this is just a very educated opinion, but I would bet that both Tom and Tony are history within 2-3 years tops. High salaries. Divas. Very political. And they can always hire em back as consultants if needed.
Tony has been talking about leaving WDI, either by his choice or by forced retirement, for years. It seems like it may be a reality very soon unfortunately.

Many of us do. Especially those of us who actually have met the man and have friends who work with him.

That said, JL is extremely busy these days on the Pixar/WDFA end of the business, his bread and butter.

He is spending very little time in Glendale.
Skype is a wonderful invention. They should utilize it ;)
