[QUOTE yeah I am a little upset too... 50 tickets is all they had?
frown.gif
WDW is a freaking huge place....they could have had 500 or more tickets on this itinerary and made it work... my goodness they could have had an "additional" Candlelight processional showing and made the "extra showing" D23 only with no penalty to the general park goers.

I am VERY disappointed....the ONLY WDW event and I live 2 hours or so away and I cannot attend... SAD!
:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:([/QUOTE]

Where did everyone find the information about how many tickets were sold? U couldn't find that information anywhere!!!

Here are the two latest form letter replies I've received from them. The second one is the most ridiculous email that has nothing to do with the situation.

email: feedback@disneytwentythree.com

Thank you for your letter.

Thank you for your interest in the D23's Magic & Merriment at Walt
Disney World event.

There was an incredible amount of interest in attending this event and
it sold out very quickly. We hope that you will join us at another one
of our upcoming D23 Member events.

Regards,
Jermaine

I was able to put my credit card through and got a thing saying receipt but I didn't get an email confirmation. Anyone else not get a confirmation?
Also I notice the Sip and Stroll now says tickets no longer available. Is that the same as Sold Out?

I got the receipt screen and then an email confirmation, but my card has not been charged. I'm really nervous that I got tickets considering what everyone else is going/went through.

I haven't been able to purchase tickets for any of the East Coast D23 events to date. Sorry, but I'm not smelling a renewal of my membership. Four quarterly magazines aren't just cutting it for me anymore....:(

Kenny- Your response was just as horrific as mine. But Maybe you can email this address as well. Hopefully if we all send lots of emails about our anger, they will actually do something about it. Doubt it though! They don't give any information out what so ever. They better put a post or something on D23's website, because leaving us all in the dark is ridiculous!

Hello Kim,

Thank you for your letter.

Please send your request to our ticketing company, Experient, at the
following e-mail address:

They probably don't want to hear about it anymore, so they would rather us email this experient company as well. ARGGG

I'm very dissappointed, to the point of anger, that a paid membership organization will not respond to inquiries with anything more than form emails to Dear Disney Guest or Dear D23 Guest. I've provided my phone number over and over again to no avail. There is no contact number and every email address just sends me form emails.
Here's the most recent:

Dear D23 Guest,

Thank you for your interest in D23!

Regrettably, we do not have access to the most current information regarding the availability of tickets for D23 events. To find out more about the D23’s Benefits and Special Events Calendar, availability of tickets, any admission costs and how to register for events, please visit www.disney.com/D23. All D23 Special Events are subject to change without notice, have varying admission fees and registration processes and may require advance reservations due to space limitations.

Should you have a question regarding any of the D23 Benefits or Special Events, for the most up-to-date D23 information, please click on the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page on the D23 website, www.disney.com/D23. The D23 Special Events Team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Please contact D23expo@experient-inc.com for assistance with tickets and logging in to the D23 Events ticketing site.

As always, should you have questions concerning your membership number or an order placed for D23 merchandise, please feel free to contact us for assistance.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your interest in all things Disney!

Sincerely,
Tashia

Thanks, Nicholas. I looked in my spam folder and there was my email confirmation for the Magic and Merriment. I just called Visa and asked if my card was charged and it was!!! See you in December!

Same here. I haven't been able to get anyone to send me an actual response to my emails. It's very frustrating and I don't know who else to contact. So, instead, I have decided to call my credit card company and have them dispute the membership charge. I see no point of being a member.

Did the same and got another form email from Disney Store within an hour saying they would cancel my membership.

So, many people complained this event seemed too expensive.

Then, it sold out in about a minute.

What would that tell you if you were a Disney executive?

(and by the way, I was trying to buy tickets for this but I could not get through, by the time I did it said Sold Out).

How do we know that? Except for people saying it in this thread I do not think we have any official word.

50 seems like an awfully small number. If that is the case they should have had some sort of lottery so everyone could have an equal chance of getting tickets. I have contacted D23 about this but I have not gotten a response yet.

Can't see if it's an error, it's based on limited capacity, or if it's really NOT too expensive...for some.
But that hasn't stopped folks from drawing their own conclusions and making up facts has it?

The only thing we know is that it is stating that it is sold out and that folks are receiving form letters when making further inquiries.

Did I say that?:shrug::lol:

I would think that's because it's been said that there were only 50 spots.
