In my opinion, that drive down I-4 to Disney and back is just so punishing. Mostly morning commute into WDW, since you can conceivably stay in the Reedy Creek area thru the end of evening rush hour.

Yeah, in reality I probably wouldn't do that because having to drive back and forth to Disney every day would be incredibly annoying (and I wouldn't want to stay at Disney and drive over to Universal for several days either), but it would definitely save money.

I don't think I'd ever do both Disney and Universal on one trip anyways, but I know people do (and often stay at or near Disney). If those trips change from 2 days at Universal to 3-4 days at Universal, people may decide to switch where they're staying too, especially if there's a significant cost difference.

It was mostly cow pastures then, and all of my neighbors were rich Brits' second homes. So we liked it, but it was weird.
