Disney decided the 50th would be about the magic calling you home to Disney world. Thus, marketing song and beacons of magic on the Castle and icons. All good, no issues there.

Then some moron wrote a terrible song called you are the Magic and f-ed everything up.

"You Are the Magic" isn't a 50th song. It's the theme of Enchantment, which just happened to come out for the 50th.

The Walt statue will look fine when it's on a full set of stairs, in my opinion. Just looks a little odd with the truncated base for the exhibition.

The Walt statue won’t be as bad sitting on stairs and not a literal cut off throne.

I’m excited that a Marvel attraction may show after all. Honestly between that and a probable (hopefully) people moved announcement, I think the crowd in attendance will be happy.

By the way are people going to discuss the Pixar / Disney movie panel here, or somewhere else? I’d like to follow along.

StagePass is even stronger seat positioning wise than it was at last expo. There’s essentially very limited early lineup formation this year as the stagepass people get the priority and standby are behind. Last conference D23 Gold standby was ahead of stage pass, which was ahead of regular standby.

You guys hate, but "The Magic is Calling" and "You Are the Magic" are the two best things about the 50th anniversary.

"Where the Magic Feels Like Home" is a better song than those two, imo.

Used during the friendship fair stage show, it's one of the few positives to come out of the 50th.

I like "You Are The Magic", but geez it goes on for too long in the finale. They basically repeated the song twice in a span of 3 mins, which gets us many dud moments with no pyro.

The Studios aren't the care takers of The Muppets anymore was moved over to Parks and Conusmer Products. So unless they get a big ambasador in that division it'll be one or two Muppet projects for Disney+
