After today, I can confidently state that during my next trip to Orlando more time will be spent at Universal Studios than Walt Disney World. I hate that. But, value is value and I can't continue to go to WDW and waste money.
This was such a bad presentation all the way around. It wasn't even about anything announced for me, it was just ... bad and embarrassing. Poorly handled, badly run and it all just blurred together. They need to do this differently in the future. They need to better use this opportunity they have to present things. JMO.
Also gives me pause to realize they probably won't be investing as much after the 50th but I'd love to be wrong. What we see is what we get (which we were all warned about) except for maybe a surprise or two. I also think they'd get more buzz if they wait until 2021 (the year Magic Kingdom/WDW turns 50) to really announce and hype things for the future (like DAK and DHS). Just a thought. But I doubt they put that much thought into the process.
Coco/Imagination/DAK/DHS/Tomorrowland investments announced in 2021 would get some good buzz going that they could milk for a few years and another Expo
